This dress is elegant and fits this 5 foot, 9 inch, size 14 body very comfortably. The sheer bottom of the dress is fun, but several inches too long for me. The dress had to be hemmed. The sheer skirt can be pulled up a few inches and stitched into the bottom hem of the main part of the dress, above the area where the sheer fabric begins. Otherwise, the hem can be left long for a train-like effect; which I couldn't have, since the dress is for ballroom dancing.

I pick this dress based on the reviews for a gala. I had previously looked at other dresses at Macy's, but they were out of my price range. I got the dress in a couple of days! I looked smashing! I wish I had the picture. The dress fit wonderfully! The dress was a hit! Throughout the night, I received many compliments. Saw others in their Macys gowns and I chuckled inside, knowing that I paid under $50 for my look.My complaint is that the plastic which gave the bottom of the dress a floating look came out of the dress by the end of the evening. I should have sent it back, but it didn't occur to me to do so. The other complaint is that the shoulders were too big, but not noticeable in the dark.

I usually wear a large and even after reading the comments on this dress I figured I would just buy extra large just to be safe well the extra large couldn't even zip up and the bottom sheer part was so sheer an the sequins So high that my entire behind was out. NO THANKS

Just too long but great fit, I had the seamstress to alter it at the waist.

This dress is beautiful in person. It ran slightly small in the hips (we ordered our usual size) but it was definitely wearable. The biggest concern was that the beading on the dress irritated my daughter's arms.

You get what you pay for...this dress lasted about 3 hours before the fishing line hem popped open and my husband ended up tripping over the line... I'm not making this up. It's very pretty but very cheap. Disappointed to say the least.

This is a beautiful dress! Unfortunately it didn't fit my chest area. I wear a 38G. It is absolutely gorgeous for them money !!!

Fits great and is flattering. The bottom is really sheer, but flows and gathers very nicely. Looks great with black leggings or tights.
