FARBIN Horns Auto Horn 12V Car Horn Loud Dual-Tone Waterproof Electric Snail Horn Kit Universal for Any 12V Vehicles Black (Classic style, 12v)

Didn't know what to expect, had good reviews, but I was sure needing something better than the "meep meep," horn on my '04 1100 Shadow. This horn makes a satisfying "honk!" No more "meep meep!" Installation on my bike required drilling a 5/16" hole about halfway up the supplied bracket, (it's two identical pieces with matching holes at each end,) and cutting off an inch or so from the bottom. I just clamped them together with some small vise grips, then drilled the hole on a drill press, and used a vise to hold the newly drilled pieces so I could cut it shorter with a cut off wheel, then ground the corners to a soft curve and deburred, because that's just how I do things (No surprise finger cuts later.) The OE spade connectors slipped right on to the new horn. No wiring necessary. Which is great, because the instructions come with all sort of wiring options, and are written in poor Chinese to English translation. Wasn't sure what all would need doing... Turns out it was a simple job. If you're thinking about it, do it. Get rid of that stupid "meep meep," horn!

Very easy to install and with the adjustable arm, it's easy to get it in the right position. Obviously it's not as loud as an air horn but it's also not as expensive or as bulky as an air horn. It's at least twice, if not three times louder than the stock horn.

I was skeptical without hearing these in person before purchasing and installing them. The factory horns in my 2023 Hyundai Sonata are incredibly weak and fail to get noticed when they need to get noticed. I decided, rather than removing the bumper to replace the factory horns, I'd just add these Farbin horns in as auxillary horns, so I purchased the package with the wiring harness and button. Installation was straightforward. There is a perfect spot in the Sonata under the hood where there is even a pre-drilled bolt hole that you can mount both of them on. Most difficult part was poking the button wiring through the firewall. Everything else was easy - positive to positive and negative to negative. The horns are loud and clear. They sound the way a car horn should sound: attention-grabbing, full-tone sound. They remind me of my old Buick Regal's horns. So now since I have two separate sets of horns installed, I can use the Farbins in traffic if needed, and the weaker factory horns for a more friendly beep.
