This worked perfectly for what I bought it for. It hold the auxiliary cords together very nicely. Since it came from over seas it did take awhile to get here but I knew that when ordering it. When I opened the package they had also sent me a small stylus that plugs into the earphone jack on my phone, it also works great. This product is well made, affordable and worth buying if your not in a rush to get it.

I had just bought a Creative subwoofer and speakers and the sound was great for my computer. Issue was I had limited desk space and the cord from speaker to subwoofer was not long enough to get speakers to the shelves above desk. I had the solution with a meter long 3.5mm male to male cord that I had around. Course you can't link male end to male end on different cords. This coupler was perfect for making the connection. There is a click when you plug into the coupler so you know you're getting hooked up. Its design is simple but sturdy. I notice no audio issues with using the coupler.

The reason I bought this is so that I could hook 2 audio cables together using this device. It has worked pretty good so far. Why I bought this is because I use over the ear headphones, and the sets I had when I bought this restricted how big of a cable end I could use. Although the end of the cable was 3.5 mm like MOST of my audio cable are, a few of them have different sized exposed cable sheethes, essentially the piece of the plug that you see when the cable is in a device. So I bought this so I could adapt one of my other cables into something that could fit into my head phones.

I'm a teacher and I wanted a cheap and easy way to hook up my computer speakers to my DVD player in my classroom. I had already purchased some sound cables that plug into the DVD player, but I needed a female to female coupler. This product works well and was very inexpensive.

Does it work? Yes. That's it. Not working would mean any kind of buzz or altering of the signal when the adapter, when in use, is moved or the cables rotated. No, it's fine. It's all about the snug fit. Since I have only owned this particular one for a short while, I can not comment on whether the connections will remain tight after 3.5mm jacks are inserted and removed dozens... maybe hundreds of times over the coming years. Then again, nothing is made to last forever. How about this- I'll edit this review as soon as one breaks. You can see by the date stamped here when I wrote it and you'll know that one hasn't broken on me yet. (Oh yeah, I got about a dozen)

the item is ok it works and serves its purpose, however waiting more than a month for it to ship from china was inexcusable!!! I would have picked a different one (there were several) if I had known they did not have it in stock.Amazon needs to make it clear on the description that some thing will be shipped from overseas. I needed it long before I got it.

Great!! 」(￣▽￣」) I ordered this to connect an audio out cable ( 2RCA to Y) with my headphones so I don't bother anyone when using the TV, and it worked splendidly! It takes a little force to get the jacks in but it has a nice grip so it doesn't disconnect and does not hinder the audio quality. It arrived on time and at a good price.

Bought this so many years ago (8 years?), it's very durable, its never broken until I lost it recently.
