BRCOVAN Aluminum Alloy Handlebar Mount Base with 1'' TPU Ball

Not the first time ive bought from this mfg. The last thing I bought was led light mounts for my crash bars and they worked perfect so I knew this would work for mounting my gps. Really high quality for the price. Very happy with this purchase. Doesn't slip. Infinitely adjustable. Aluminum so its durable and sturdy. Simple design that perfectly achieved what I needed.

Great mount, less bulky than Ram mount that came with GPS. It also has four rubber inserts, not three as listed. Has 28.6mm insert as well. Would have bought two if I knew it came with the 28.6 insert. Non-slip hold. I will be getting another for other bike. Cannot beat the price. Highly recommend for GPS/cell phone.

However, after putting it to the test during my "cannonballs' across America" journey, I'm left with mixed feelings about its performance. The BRCOVAN Handlebar Mount Base's aluminum alloy construction initially gave me confidence in its durability. The 1'' TPU ball seemed promising for securely attaching my accessories, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride. However, my experience on the road revealed some drawbacks that were hard to overlook. One of my main concerns was the consistent need to tighten the mount base. During the long hours of riding, I found myself frequently adjusting and re-tightening the base to keep it firmly in place. This proved to be quite a hassle and distracted me from the overall enjoyment of the journey. The fact that it couldn't maintain its grip despite repeated adjustments was disappointing, to say the least. Before you say I was doing wrong, I tried rubber (it came with that) I tried cork, news paper, and some grass. All Failed. A major drawback emerged when the mount base failed to prevent my accessories from moving around during the ride. Despite my efforts to secure them, I often noticed them shifting and swaying, which not only posed a risk but also detracted from the smoothness of the ride. This was particularly frustrating when I needed to maintain focus on the road. While the concept of the BRCOVAN Aluminum Alloy Handlebar Mount Base with a 1'' TPU ball is promising, its performance left much to be desired, especially during a demanding cross-country journey. The need for constant adjustments and the inability to maintain a secure grip on my accessories dampened my overall experience. In the end, the BRCOVAN Handlebar Mount Base fell short of my expectations, revealing limitations that were hard to overlook. While it may work adequately for shorter rides or less demanding usage scenarios, my experience during my "cannonballs' across America" adventure highlighted its shortcomings, leaving me seeking a more reliable solution for securing my accessories on the road.

Great design, very sturdy, and easy to adjust. Once installed, it is very stable and grips very well.

I used this mount to attach an off-road style phone holder to my mountain bike. The included rubber reducers are handy to attach the mount to different size tube but it worked for me without an adapter. Includes an allen wrench, it's easy and quick to install, and the materials and finish are good quality.
