Never buying chisels without hand guards again. Just a wonderful product.
The hand guards work wonders. Especially as you get tired. No metal chipping. Worked as imagined.

Heavy duty and just the thing for rockhounds. Has hand protection when striking with a hammer.
Color makes it easy to spot and always look back before you leave a location or you might forget these chisels or your rock hammer. I also spray Day-Glo orange paint on heavier hammers like 3 and 4 pound hammers so as not to forget them. Yes you do need to spray some flat white aerosol paint on the hammer head first before spraying Day-glow orange paint on the hammer head. Or use "flagger " tape on your tools so you do not lose any. Seem to be well made and has good hand protection.

Durable and perfect for what they are
I've used these to break bricks and sandstone boulders into pieces. The handles stay true and the peen molds wonderfully to the hammer that strikes it. I don't miss so the guards are all good I've also hit them sideways to free them without marring the grips now that I remember... pretty tough and sharp hard tips! Highly recommend ๐

Poor quality
I would say this is a good tool for softer stone/concrete work, but the quality of "chrome-vanadium steel CRV steel" leaves little to be desired. Attempting to bore a hole in bolder to set rebar and within 2 strikes the tip shattered, I'm assuming the bolder is andesite or granite. Taking this as a lesson for buying tools online, don't make my mistake.
