Recommend for anyone who's interested in going back to old roots. I will pass this down to my daughter's one day.

This book help fill in some gaps of practices and plants used by my ancestors. The additional references help help also. Very thorough. My only wish now is that the book would be updated with actual photosof the plants to enhance the botanical drawings.

A very dense read, but informative. This author goes to great lengths to deliver the lesser known history surrounding the beginnings of this faith/religion/ way of living. Dense but worth the time If you are truly interested in the *roots*

This book was great ! easy to read and packed with a lot of really good information thatI have been able to verify in other text. Additionally, this book is referenced by other texts on this subject. This book is well organized and has a great way to easily refer back for follow up.
