Komal's Passion Leather Vintage Mens 16 Inch Leather Laptop Messenger Pro Satchel Men's Bag

This is 3rd Komal bag. I am obsessed with them. The quality is amazing and I am not afraid to really use them. This messenger bag is my everyday workhorse bag and I do not baby it. Coworkers can’t believe it when they see my real leather bag sitting on the floor. They are really shocked to see me sit it on the ground in the parking lot. If you love the aged look these bags really do look and feel better every day. This messenger bag is big enough to hold my 17” laptop, charger/cord, mouse, pens, glasses, files, flash drives, my planner, keys and wallet with room to spare. I questioned buying this because the description says “men’s” but I am so glad I did. It does not look like a “man’s” bag.

I absolutely love this company and their products continue to astound me. I have been looking for a laptop/cross body messenger bag. I have looked for awhile and purchased another bag as I liked the combo of grey canvas w a leather flap and trim. When it came it was very small, I couldn't fit my laptop and wallet in it together. The leather was thin and had frays around the edge. I was very disappointed. I actually was looking at the Komal duffel bag for a luggage piece when this bag popped up. First, I couldn't believe it was nearly the same price as the one I was returning and so much bigger with all the pockets and compartments. I had actually purchased a large leather purse from Komal about a year ago and love it. I knew the quality of their products, the craftsmanship and the service. The one sacrifice I made, is obviously that it is not two tone. I liked the black/grey and brown material/leather mix because I am very matchy match but I really wanted quality. Upon receiving it today I absolutely never imagined it would be as large and roomy as it is. It fit everything, my laptop, pen/pencil leather role-also Komal- notebook, trade magazines, event items (I am an event manager) phone, wallet and still has room to spare. As usual, the bag was beautifully packaged and has a dust bag. All hardware was wrapped so it didn't damage or get damaged in transit and had care instructions. The leather is true leather and I know from experience how beautifully it ages with wear. This is NOT PCU LEATHER, like a Michael Korrs bag. Everyone that comments about how strange this is and the strange smell, obviously has no idea what true leather is and what plastic or pleather is. Now, this bag does not have a HANDLE. So if you want to be able to carry it like a briefcase or attache case, you can't. It is a true cross body or shoulder bag. The strap is adjustable. If you do purchase this bag, invest in a leather cleaner and moisturizer kit so you can care for your bag and watch it last forever. This is my 3rd Komal purchase. I would have paid 7x the price. Absolutely a high quality and hidden gem of a brand.

First off, I would like to make it clear that I just recently received this bag and that I do love this bag as well. From the stand point of quality materials and well executed craftsmanship, it is an absolutely solid choice for a leather messenger bag.However, the issue, and to a certain extent disappointment, with this bag has to do its sizing. By measurement it is true to its claim size of 12"H x 16"L. However, the width as measured at the bottom of bag came in at 3"W instead of the claimed 5"W. This will limit the potential intended uses for this lovely bag. I know that I was certainly looking forward to those extra 2 inches. If you are utility driven, this will be something to consider.Nonetheless, in terms of what I got for what I paid for, it was definitely not worth returning. The value was just too good not to keep. I had to give 5 stars for was it is ..... a solid, attractive, and potentially long lasting leather messenger bag. But in terms of expectations, at least for me, it probably rates more like 2 stars or maybe 3 stars. But for yourself and your needs it might just be perfect ..... and definitely worth considering!

Bought the bag as a gift for my brother. He loves it. It was definitely worth the price. A bit bigger than I anticipated, but he's a taller guy so it was great for him. The leather was beautiful, lots of easily accessible pockets and compartments to keep all your stuff organised. I may have to get a smaller one for myself.
