Convenient time or no fuss
Easy to use with your French press looks great in your kitchen and you can use it for other things I used the timer against my stopwatch, and it is very accurate highly recommend especially for the price.

Good timer for tea, coffee and other uses
I was looking for a mechanical timer that does not need a battery replacement, primarily for making tea. This one works very well for me.

Where's 4 Minutes??
It's repeatable, but I expected the light, medium, and dark lines to coincide with whole minutes - say 3,4,and 5 minutes, or 2,4,and 6 minutes. It isn't that way. You have to run a bunch of tests to find 4 minutes, and mark it yourself.

Overall good product
I like the timer overall. Great idea for those of us who live and die by our press. Timer feels a little cheap in that when you twist the knob you don't get that solid or rigid feeling of quality. I timed it with the iPhone timer and all three settings did match up. I didn't test the magnet, but I did use commercial grade velcro to stick next to grinder on the solid surface wall. We'll see how long the product last with day to day use.Update; Product broke after just a few months of use. Good idea but needs more focus on quality.
