I washed, dried and oiled it with vegetable oil right away the first time I got it. Then I used it the next day. So far no cracks.Lovely snack bowl.

The wood is beautiful. I thought it might be a little large for an entry bowl, but everything fits in it nicely. Very happy with purchase.

I make candles using these bowls and people love them! However, nearly half of the bowls I have ordered from this listing arrive with holes/huge cracks in them which results in many returns/reorders for me. If the seller could improve that, it would make a huge difference.

Too bad, it was a beautiful bowl, but it arrived broken.

I will admit I would have like these to have a much deeper basin for material, but for what the material is, and how the cutting and sanding process is done, it was appeasing visually. Please note when you buy what you get depends on the way the root was shaped and grew. I would suggest informing the seller of picking out select ones specific to what you want in your bowl, which is what I will do next time. I will keep what I have and see how they turn out, and may need to exchange one. Over all the natural look and shape was pleasing, just do not rely on the photo and inquire the seller for clarity.

I originally intended this to be a fruit bowl in the kitchen but when it arrived it was too small for that purpose when you have 3 very snack-y children. But the bowl is beautiful, quality, durable, and I have changed it's purpose as a catch all bowl by the front door. I would say it is larger than a cereal bowl but smaller than a kitchen aid mixing bowl.

I purchased for a photo shoot, but have used it many times. Good quality.
