Beyond simple. There is no assembly required. You do need 2 AAA batteries for the remote but other than that just mount it where you want it and make sure the Solar panel has direct sun light. It is not the most powerful light out there, but it works perfect for a small patio or to hang a few under trees in the backyard. It does have 3 settings on the remote from dim to brightest and the light does work and seems to be reliable. I like having the remote so I can turn it on and off when I am on the patio. It also comes with a timed setting on the remote.

The electric porch light was a nuisance to turn on and off every day. No timer. The solar power gives me Free Light. The pendant light design is attractive and doesn't even show. The light is a soft warm color. I bought a second one for outside the patio door. Even if the solar panel fails, which I doubt, I'd but another light.

Before I ordered this particular product, I ordered a similar one from another company. After 2 days of fully charging under a hot bright sunlight, the product was way below expectation and I had to return it. It was not bright enough as stated in the info, after a few hours the light was annoyingly blinking--we tried everything but nothing worked. Since I still needed a solar outdoor light, I ordered from LOZAYI---and on the first day after the easy installation---it works perfectly: the light was/is so bright, the remote which was a way better quality was easy to use and it was worth every penny spent. And mind you, it was not expensive. As I stated, this product is way much better. You will be happy and very satisfied with this purchase. If I could put more than 5 stars--I would give a 10.

I have this hung in the canopy above my grill. As long as weather allows I love to grill but when the days get short it was getting dark and hard to see what was on the grill. So I got this to hang from the canopy above the grill. It refuses to turn on until it is dark however. Like my regular solar string lights, it needs to be somewhat dark to work. I can live with that. The light itself is very bright and does a great job of lighting up my grill. Now to not lose the remote :)

Very bright and adorable little solar light. It was bright enough to light up my whole deck and a little around it too. I love that it is so portable so I can use it in the shed or in the house. Very handy. The remote is convenient to turn it on and off easily. There are 3 levels of brightness. I highly recommend.

Throws a surprising amount of light in a dark area of my yard yet it is not a harsh and intrusive light. It also stays on all night. Even did well after a number of cloudy or stormy days - didn't lose power. Love that it has a very long wire so you have more options for positioning the solar cell. Get some zip ties for connecting the wires to fence, tree limbs, etc - makes insulation easy...

I had bought different lights for my chicken coop, and they just were not bright enough. So, I read reviews and ordered this one.It’s perfect! It’s more than bright enough with one bulb. It was easy to hang, and it stays on all night! Usually I go shut it off when I go to bed. But I forgot last night and was pleasantly surprised to see some light still coming from it this morning.I love it so much, I may actually order another!

I purchased this light for an indoor purpose and found it to be remarkable. It lights up my stairs at night plus I can set the timer for 6 hours and never have to worry about dark stairs again. Easy to use, just charge in the sun for a full day then you're ready to go. Make sure the connectors are secure as I had trouble at first but after it was done, poof great light!!
