We have rails on the sides but our daughter falls when trying to climb out from foot of bed. Do you think this would work at the foot of a bed?

It's not that high. Mainly prevents them from rolling out of bed. I think she could climb over it.

It is a two pack. I bought this for our grand daughter's bed when she visits, and my sister ordered them for her grand son. They are great. Come with a hand pump and are easy to inflate. I keep them inflated and then slide them under the bed when not in use.

Can you use these rails with a 2 inch thick camping mattress/pad?

Honestly, the large pool noodles from Walmart (cut in half) work better and are better for the money unless you have to have it rolled up small to fly.

Should this come with a foot pump? Ours did not. It says in the instructions it comes with one but do not see it mentioned on here.

The Shrunks bed rails do not come with a foot pump. The Shrunks bed rails blow up easily by mouth like a balloon for compact travel.
