This dehydrator arrived much quicker than predicted! So, that was a great bonus! We have a dairy goat farm, and my wife has already used it a couple of times to dehydrate goat's milk in trays. She is very happy with it thus far! It will see a lot of use when the spring garden veggies start ripening!One of the things we especially liked about it is the all-metal shelves (grid-racks). A lot of the dehydrators out there have plastic ones. Recent studies have shown that even BPA-free plastic coming in contact with food raises health concerns and risk. Crawford made a great health and quality choice by going all-metal!

Came with incorrect parts and it is so loud it sounds like a truck is running inside my kitchen. The fan will rattle and shake like it might blow right out of the machine. Contacted seller to return and was not pleased with the reply. When I read the other few bad reviews I thought well if ours comes messed up we will just send it back....don't think it will be that easy. They made it seem like we were being dishonest. So I'll just wait for it to explode!!! Very unhappy...mostly with the seller, but the machine is not what they promise, wish we would have gotten a good one like all the five star's.

So far so good for function of the dehydrator. One batch of sweet potato and beet chips in and I am very happy with the dehydrator. This thing is BIG. Be sure to take measurements of the place you will use it and store it before buying. It is also heavy. My husband has to move it for me due to the awkward size and weight.Likes: All stainless design for part that touch food (minus the optional tray liners).Dislies: Strong plastic smell in the packaging and strong plastic burning smell in the beginning of use. Door is flimsy and barely perches on the device. Control panel on top back, if you had limited space for storage and use this could be an issue.I wish I had run it for a cycle to dissipate the "hot fan" smell before starting my first batch. The tray liners smell so disgustingly of plastic I am not sure I will ever get them near my food.

Plastic heater/fan shroud, arrived broken. Plastic will get brittle over time-with heat. Better units have a metal shroud with isolation dampers. Fitment is sloppy (front door especially). Cut my hand on sharp case edge. Watch who the vendor is--you may be ordering from canada.

This is the best! If you are thinking of dehydrating some fruits, vegetables and perhaps make some beef jerky, this is the machine to get. The company that sells them will go above and beyond to help you know matter the problem, they are very easy to work with! No, I did NOT get this free, I paid full price!

I've had this just over a year and the motor and heating element stopped working I had it full of beef 8 trays I set it to run over night . It started running I went to bed and in the morning I opened it to find the meat was not dry. I lost about $90.00 between the meat and spices. Where can I get a replacement control board with the fan and heater?

So far, so good. This is a better class of product than the cheaper plastic units I've tried. The amount of space is substantial. While the fitment of some of the pieces could be better (the front door especially), this is insignificant compared to the performance of the unit. Clean up is easy

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Although it was a great idea as a gift, and my husband was looking forward to dehydrating meat and fruit, this product stopped working after just a few weeks and now we are having a really difficult time contacting the seller. Each time I've tried to contact the seller I receive an automatic response asking the same question over and over. Then nothing! I have been contacting the seller for a month now and all I have is a broken dehydrator! My advice to you is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Customer service is so important and their customer service is terrible!
