Tesla Model 3 Glass Roof Sunshades (Only Compatible with The 2023-2021 Model 3 Made in The US Version)

I’ve been wanting to get a roof cover for awhile, I got lucky with this one. Fits great, looks factory, easy install. If there are any problems down the road, I’ll come back and update

This shade is great for the Tesla model 3. We live in the desert and the sun gets extremely hot, this shade blocks out a good amount of heat and the sun that comes in the sunroof when it’s directly over top. We have had no issues. This shade fits great, easy to install and doesn’t have any weird smell like some have said. Definitely buy this one if you’re in need to block some sun out. We tinted the top of the sunroof and we still put the shade up, the shade keeps out more sun than the expensive ceramic tint.

Full disclosure. The old design of the rear roof shade didn’t work well with my Model 3. It seemed smaller than the car frame and it didn’t fit snug and tight, frequently falling out of the position and blocking my rear view window. The bottom side of the shade was unsupported, so it was hanging loose and partially obstructing the view even when in position.I was going to write this off as one of those “waste of money” purchases that look great in theory but not really functional in real life. But I thought I’d reach out to them to see if they have any remedies for the problem.I emailed the customer support. Within minutes of sending my inquiry email, Luke from Vion’s customer support replied and started working with me. He acknowledged the inherent design flaws of the old version and sent me a new and improved design right away.I got the new one the very next day and I must say the new design was a vast improvement. It addressed all the issues I had with the previous version. The dimensions were spot on, custom fit into the roof frame, and the bottom side was shortened for full clearance of the rear view window while providing sufficient suncoverage on the rear passenger seats.Most of all. I was super impressed with their prompt responses and commitment to deliver good quality. They were aware of their product limitations, quickly acknowledged and addressed them. I’d definitely buy another product from them.

The color matches the interior of my Tesla model 3 2022. Right now, I am only using the light colored screen panels, not the black ones. I live in South Florida, and it is effective for significantly reducing the sun & heat. I would like for the black panels to be some kind of reflective material instead, then I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. Otherwise it fits extremely well with no gaps, or sagging. It basically looks like it came from Tesla. No has asked me Otherwise.

The shade matches the interior well. It is easy to install and I can already feel the heat difference. Well worth the price.

The material is awesome and the color is a perfect match. The front panel fits perfectly. The rear panel, however, does not stay in place. Wind from any open windows makes it come loose and fall off. Even when windows are closed, the pannel slides backwards over time. There is a significant distance between the panel and the glass roof, making it difficult at best to attempt to adhere the back edge of the panel in some other way.

Perfect fit matches interior. It’s incredible. Adds a sleek look even for covering windows. Bit tough to fold up and store but manageable after videos.

Excelente producto. Fue la única marca qué encontré compatible con mi model 3 modelo 2022 hecho en USA. La instalación es relativamente sencilla, el ajuste casi perfecto (ya qué llegan a quedar unos espacios muy, pero muy pequeños en algunas orillas), las grapas para colocarlo son de muy buena calidad y su color es igual al del tapizado del auto, el color y el acabado es exactamente el mismo que el tapizado original del techo y reduce muchísimo (diría en un 80%) el calor y el deslumbramiento del sol en días de mucho calor y cielo despejado (vivo en Mérida, México y en los meses de abril y mayo tenemos un sol muy intenso con temperaturas que llegan a los 43° centígrados). Los parasoles de techo originales Tesla y de la mayoría de las otras marcas son negros, en cambio estos quedan mucho mejor, pareciera un accesorio hecho por Tesla pero mucho más barato! Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

S'adapte parfaitement sur une Model 3 de 2023. La couleur correspond bien à la couleur de base de la voiture. Les dimensions sont aussi très bonnes (aucun espace visible pour ma part).L'installation est simple (moins de 10 minutes la première fois en étant seul, ensuite environ 2 minutes). Le démontage et le pliage sont aussi très rapide et facile à effectuer.Après plusieurs journées de grosses chaleurs, je trouve que cela est bien utile.

Saw this on a YouTube video and was impressed by the fit and finish. Having bought and fitted it I can confirm it’s just as good and useful as described.Having recently bought my car I love the glass roof but was starting to find the solar load uncomfortable even with the tinting. Having fitted the sunscreen (without the additional blackout covers) it’s so much more comfortable. It has the nice effect that you are aware of the sun still as the light percolates through but the heat doesn’t. Surprisingly so given it’s just a material layer.I really like that the colour is a very close match to the interior. Fitting is very easy with the included instructions, but take care that you get the clips on the right way round.The covers are actually quite large and I chose to unfurl them in the car which I think was probably the easiest way but there is a natural creasing of the fabric due to the way they are packaged. Temai suggest they will drop out in a few days but a week later and they are still there. It doesn’t worry me but I’d suggest you steam them before fitting if it would.At 6’2 I’ve no issues with headroom in the front but it does encroach in the rear. As there is just the two of us it’s not an issue nor would it be for anyone under 6 ft, just an observation. I’ve not used the rear quarter window screens but I have no reason to think they would not fit as well as the others. When winter comes around again I may attach the blackouts to provide an additional layer to reduce the heating load. All in all a very nice product, well made and packaged. Recommended.
