Good product, works great. Putting batteries in is a bit difficult, I felt like I was going to break the head pulling it off to put the batteries in.

Don’t waste your money. I purchased this trimmer in January, 2025, for the second time. I thought the first one may have been a lemon, but this one is just as bad. It works for a little while, then will not work. I only use it occasionally, maybe once or twice a month. I have replaced the battery several times. Sometimes it works with a new battery, but now doesn’t work at all. I have checked the connections, but believe it may be the switch. Before buying these trimmers, I had one for 10 years with no problems until it finally died. I think this product is cheaply made.

Broke the first time it was turned on. No clue but the top it just fell apart. We returned it to Amazon and we're probably refunded, but we will order a new one of the same making model and see how that one does.

These are great little trimmers and an equally great price. Works well for small areas that need a quick trim such as mild facial hair.

I have several Wahl appliances, including a beard trimmer and hair clippers. They are both excellent, reliable, and testament to the Wahl name. I'm not sure what happened with this detailer. The first couple times I used it, it worked very well. It is quite flimsy, however, and it can easily break in hard to discern ways. Mine still works to some degree, but within about five uses the alignment seems to have been disturbed. Now when I turn it on, rather than the normal buzzing noise, there is a high-pitched whine. It no longer trims very well. If I use it on my eyebrows with the added attachment, it is more likely to tear out patches of eyebrow than to trim away the bushiness. I carefully examined it, and it appears that the plastic piece which holds the actual blade, is slightly warped and separated. I never once dropped the device or did anything which should cause this problem. I was careful when placing the cap back on it, and it sits in a spot in its own drawer, so hasn't been molested in any way. PROS: Wahl name Purple color for those who like purple Can be rinsed under water to clean Price CONS: No longer effective after a few uses Loud whining noise when using Tends to rip out eyebrows if you use the attachment

This trimmer proved very useful for my wife specially during this covid time. only this trimmer helps her to give proper shape also to her eyebrows.Built quality is very good. You need to be careful for the first 1-2 times to get used to this product and understand how to give proper shape.Overall a good purchase .
