Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have fine hair. So, I like to heat style my hair at the lowest temperatures possible. My current flat iron has 265F and 300F as its lowest temperatures. 265F was too low to prevent frizz. So, I’ve been using 300F. My hair doesn’t tend to hold curls but it helped to keep my curly hair from reverting.So, I tried this one at 285F. Holy cow! My hair looks sleek and shiny. It holds curls nicely. And it doesn’t look flat. My hair looks like I styled it at a much higher temperature. I also like the fact that it’s easy to grip my fine stranded hair. I don’t even have to squeeze the plates really hard or tight. I examined it to see if it was basically like doing double passes with a wider plate. But, comparing this one with my old one, both plates look to be 1” total, but the separation of 2 1/2 inch plates just does a better job - seemingly with less heat. I am excited to try a silk press with this one next. Amazing and impressive results with little effort. Highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. It works very well. It left my hair very pretty. The most important thing is that it has its temperature control so you can adjust it depending on what you want.It's wide so I couldn't find how to use it for curls.I only used it flat

I have been looking for a hair straightener for a while now because the one I have is not working very well. I was willing to buy an expensive straightener. I came across the straightener because I had seen it at Ross and wanted to know if it was cheaper on Amazon and was hahaha. And it is perfect and works very well! I have thick, long hair with a bit of a wave (more frizzy, straight hair), and it made my hair look beautiful and shiny. It was quick and perfect! I highly recommend it!

I would not pay over $50 for this item. But, it is a nice flat iron. Also, you should start at the lowest heat setting as 315 degrees got my 4C hair good and straight!

I love this flat iron. My hair does not like being straightened but, this gets the job done. I'm so glad that I found this because it is very difficult to get my hair straight.

My Chi flat iron crapped out about a year ago so I’ve been using a babyliss (which is good for what it is imo) while looking for a replacement. I was hesitant to spend a lot of money on (yet another) hair tool that will disappoint. My hair is on the fine side and not curly so it’s not difficult to style but I’d like to keep it on my head, and there’s nothing worse than that feeling of it getting caught on and pulled out by a hot tool, and I’d like to not fry it in the process.I love this thing! I would have been pleased had it been $300, it’s that good. The fact that it’s under $100 is amazing.The plates still look brand new and I’ve been using it for several months now.As others have stated it heats up quickly and has a good temp range. I don’t find it heavy but to be fair I really don’t have to use it for long. One pass is all it takes for my hair, and it’s dumb shiny too. Great find.

I have spent so much money on hair straighteners in the past. I even have the Dyson Corrale that cost $500. All straighteners promise one pass only, shiny hair, etc... I am blown away that his inexpensive straightener is the best I have every used. I have super thick, coarse hair and it took me 10 minutes to straighten my hair with no kinks!If you are on the fence, just buy it! You will not be disappointed. I will never spend $200 again on any other brand. Thank you Revlon for this amazing tool!
