May not be the original brand we all remember, but I prefer them!
I bought two of this brand of Singamalings for my 3-year-old and 18-month-old, because they loved the ones my mother gave me when I was a child. While they may not be the original brand, they are just as adorable, and I like them even more! They are easier for a small child to play with. The original model is very hard for a kid to press, so I had to press it for them every time they wanted to play with it. That got old for all of us. They want a toy they can operate on their own, and that wasn't it.These are super soft, and every bit as good. Some reviews said they aren't loud enough, but I think they're the perfect volume. More than enough for children to enjoy, and not too loud to be obnoxious. As far as durability, I have no idea yet, but a few week in review, these are their favorite toys. :)

Every household should have one....
These dolls crack me up. They are super cute and neat to play with...love that they babble or sing, depending on what you want them to do. I purchased one for my 3 year old, 6 year old, and 13 year old. Santa even put one in my stocking and I'm a mom over 40! Lol! My kids are all boys, by the way, and they thought the dolls were funny. I bought a different one for each kid. Every time you squeeze their tummy, their mouth opens and they babble...then click their left hand to switch modes and they sing a word of a song each time you squeeze their tummy. You can make them sing fast or slow, depending on how long you press down on their tummy. I guess I'm a kid at heart, but I would think these would bring a giggle to most anybody!

Fun and cute toy
Fun and cute toy, a little smaller than expected. My 18 month only needs some assistance to push the belly to produce sounds. Product looks a little cheaply/hurriedly made (some hair from its head stitched into the felt around eye and the felt/fabric in the mouth is not continuos...looks like the pieces were stitched at the lips then pushed into the mouth but not secured with stitches) just makes product look cheep made. I see the price fluctuated on Amazon from $12.99 (what I paid) to like over $25! I think this product is worth the $12.99 but would not recommend paying a higher price (wait it out). Sound quality/function great.

Cute
Mine didn't come in the box pictured it was just in a clear baggie, besides that I think this singamaling is adorable! I read reviews people upset about it being too small but I think it's perfect size especially for little hands. can't wait for my son to open on Christmas!

Blah. Not very entertaining.
Not impressed. I bought some of these toys when they first came out a few years ago and I loved them. These seem like lesser quality for the same price. This one in particular sounds weird. The song sucks. I should just send it back but l guess I'll just use this as a stocking stuffer.

Such a waste of money
Such a waste of money. You have to continuously press on the toy's stomach (over and over and over again) to get it to "sing". They advertise it as "harmonizing" but that's just trying put a positive spin on words that are a constant stop and go and do not flow in a song, at all.

Very cool little toy!
Just got this for my 4 year old son and he loves it. It was actually delivered on a Sunday?! Works well and the features are pretty cool. Makes me want to buy a second one for the harmonizing feature. Would recommend.
