Collects and HOLDS the wax!
No matter how gently you use it, it hurts quite a bit but it works SO SO well!! Sometimes I would use 2-3 q-tips since the cotton slides around and only gets a little wax each time. this is a GREAT replacement for the environment & bodily cleanliness. rated 4 stars since mine came quite bent- packaging is ecofriendly so it's 100% soft cardboard so it didn't protect the product well at all.

Just perfect for cleaning or itchy ears. Best thing yet.

Non-absorbent and firm
The product works more-or-less as advertised, but there were a few things I didn't think through.First, it's firm. It's made of rubber, so it feels VERY different than a typical cotton swab/Q-tip. Be careful when first using them. It's harder than you might think if you're only used to cotton swabs.Second, it's non-absorbent. I didn't realize how much I relied on the absorbency of a cotton swab to help dry my ears after a shower. This is made of rubber, so it's not absorbing anything.Product delivered is what should be expected, but these details are things I didn't think through.

I love these
I do not have overly sensitive ears and would use 4-6 single use cotton q-tips at a time to clean all the wax. I'm not going to lie, my ears get quite itchy if there's wax in them so the scratching sensation of the cotton was a huge relief. I was worried these would be too rough due to some reviews- but they're PERFECT. These are so great. Exactly what I'd hoped for.

doesn’t perform as claimed by manufacturer
While the hard nubbins on the ear-targeted utensil did a fair job at scratching my itching ear canal, they were, in fact, hard, and not at all pleasant-feeling, unlike the actual cotton swabs. This uncomfortable utensil also did nothing towards cleaning my ears; there was still plenty to be found by the cotton swab afterwards. And behind-the-ear hygiene was non-existent … after all, this is silicone, so it is, by definition, non-absorbant.As for the smoother, make-up-removal-targeted, utensil … this is silicone, again, by definition, non-absorbant, and slippery as anything. So, no way for any cleaning solution to cling long enough to get transferred from the source vessel to the application target. Not to mention, silicone! Not enough friction to remove much of anything. As for some of my other uses for cotton swabs, such as eyelid/eyelash cleanup: useless, for both reasons; the silicone holds neither cleaning solutions, nor treatment solutions; nor does it it have the necessary subtle friction to clean the edge of my eyelid. Nor is this useful for applying nasal therapy solutions —- again, the silicone is too smooth and slippery to hold on to either watery or oily solutions. I doubt this utensil would be of any use in my arts and crafts work, for the very same reasons. I didn’t try it, but I cannot see it useful for glue or paint, just as the other silicone-tipped brushes in my kit are more useful for sculpture than paint. The silicone does, however, wash up quickly and easily, especially since nothing much has stuck to it in the first place.

These are much harder than I expected
I guess I expected something a little squishy to be able to fit in the crevices of the ear, but these are rock hard with no give to them. They kinda hurt. I've used them for about a week and only once did I actually see that they had actually picked up any wax in my ears; I followed behind using these with a normal cotton q-tip and everytime I saw the cotton q-tip picking up more. I'd only buy these if you wanna make yourself feel better about reducing waste, and don't really care about them doing their job. I'll be sticking to normal q-tips! I liked the idea, I was sorely disappointed in the execution.

Works better than cotton!
I bought this as a great way to be more environmentally responsible. I’ve known that little plastic Q-tips are non recyclable, and this was a clever solution. Where I’ve been impressed is in the improved function of the product. The texture of the little bumps and absorbency of the material actually helps extract, whereas cotton always seemed to just “push around.” I love it when a product not only is better for the earth but actually works much better too!

Awesome!
I struggle with itchy ears and wax build up, and these have replaced the q-tips I used to use. I love these better and they works just as well.

Great
Bit weird at first the feel or (maybe just psychological ) with not using plasticearbuds ever always used to cotton ones but they are good I would definitely recommend them as in the long run cheaper (and they are better for the environment) so better all rounder cheaper ,would recommend

Interessante
Carini.
