I use this stuff for anything that's plastic or has a plastic coating. Monitors, game consoles, speaker stands, Lego, if it's made or coated in plastic Novus 1 will clean, condition, and protect it. Novus makes 30+ year old game consoles look and feel like new, reduces dust buildup on any plastic, and removes and reduces fine scratches in smooth plastic. It will also help to reduce brittleness in old plastic and should always be used before disassembling old plastic to avoid cracks and breaks. Just spray it on the part then leave it overnight so it has time to soak in then wipe with a microfiber towel. Don't listen to Ben, it's not just Windex.

I started using it many years ago when I used to ride dirt bikes. It worked great for cleaning my riding goggles. Ever since then I’ve used it for plastic surfaces that you don’t want to leave marks. It does an excellent job of cleaning with scratch free results. This affordable large size container from NOVUS will last a long time and is easy to use. I highly recommend it!

Novus has always been a fantastic cleaner for use on glass, plastics, and other surfaces that conventional cleaners would likely wind up destroying over time. Unfortunately, Novus has been a bit on the expensive side, where a two-ounce bottle can cost around four to five dollars at a hardware store, but this 64-ounce jug is only three times more expensive and you get thirty-two times the product for the cost! In this case, the higher cost is well worth it, since this was purchased for a museum and it saves us a huge amount of money over the long term by not having to buy all those little expensive bottles. And that is critical since many of the exhibit hall panels, interactive features, monitors, and display cases require constant cleaning. What works best is to pour the Novus cleaner into a spray bottle and apply it to the surface as a fine, even coating, and then wipe the surface firmly but gently with a proper soft cloth (such as Microfiber). Or conversely, spray the cloth and then wipe the surface, which works as a means to avoid any milky residue on clear plastic or glass. Spraying also has the added benefit of extending the product since you can control much more easily the amounts being used.

Replaces a similar bottle that I have used up over about10 years to clean a plexiglass windshield and other plastics on my golfcart. Does those jobs well.
