Q: How much weight can each bag hang with stainless steel utensils and plates, bowls in it?

I haven't used them for anything heavy. I have two small, light cedar planks in each one, and I hang number of them on hangers in my closet to keep away moths. I'm sure you could put one set of silverware--knife, fork, spoon--in each one. Even two might work. It all depends how heavy the item is. I don't think they would work for large or heavy ceramic plates or bowls. Plastic dishes would be lighter than ceramic. They aren't that large, so the plate size might be the plate that you use for cup and saucer or dessert. I hope this information helps.

I just tried a set of my 9 year olds shorts and tee shirt and it did...any kids larger than that I would probably move up to a 13" x 15"

I believe so, however I have not personally try to place medication bottles inside. I believe there’s 10 mesh bags in the package I have only used two and they’re a nice size.
