Great for wet weather.
Great product. I highly recommend my dog has a problem. With his front pause, he keeps licking them. And a lot of it is contributed to when I walk him in the morning wet grass makes his paws wet. Now that I got these, they stay dry, I highly recommend it,

Do it right and they are great protective boots for crust snow and ice
I see a fair amount of reviews that state the shoes don't stay on. We had that issue until we worked with the fit. They then fit good and in less than a day, our 1-1/2 Golden Chow has no issue and was bounding and medium run by day two.* Work the shoe in your hand, rolling up the rubber base front to back. Over and over while watching TV. It softens the rubber base and your dog can walk in a normal fashion verses clomping like a horse.* Get children's socks. They help slide the shoe on and cover the dew claw. No rubbing out hot spot issues.* Slide shoes until you feel the toes at the front of the boot.* Bottom strap first and tight.* Then top strap, tight as well. DoneFYI: we found laying him on his side was the easiest way to put them on. Total time, 5 minutes. He can now walk on the sharp ice (edge of the road), hard crusty snow that the feet go through into the snow and hard packed, with sharper edges on his large run. 20: X 90'. Chasing ball, working recall and just doing good sniffing stuff. They do not come off. And no snow in boots.I believe, from what we have seen, he will be able play harder and run faster as he gets used to them. Probably today or tomorrow. It's -4 this morning so we were out about 1/2 hour. I'm this cold we're planning on more outdoor frequency with shorter times than normal, 20 - 30 min sessions. Hence, his comfort level wearing the boots will be faster.

Love the color, quality and design
First time I ever had to use boots for my dog. She wasn’t super happy with them when I first put them on. After a while outside, got more comfortable and started running around more regularly. I did have one fall off of her and I’m glad I found it cause I wasn’t really paying attention to her at the time. I think I had just not tightened it enough for fear of hurting her leg. So that’s probably my fault. If I have to use them again, I will try to update this review.Love the color,(I chose the aqua blue color, but they have a lot of other choices as well,) the quality of the material, and the design. I was guessing on the size based on other information on the Internet. And they seem to fit perfectly. Again, I’ve never used them before, so I’m a novice, but I would recommend these to others who are interested in getting booties for their dog who spend a lot of time outdoors in the cold, heat, and/or hiking, etc.

Small Dog Shoes!
Perfect, but my dog didn’t want to wear them. It is difficult to stay on. The walkability is terrible for now; I’ll keep on training him.

Prefer the zipper style boots made by the same company.
I purchased both styles (zipper front and slip-on style) and this review compares the two styles. I’m giving this no-zipper style 3 stars and the zipper style 5 stars.I prefer the zipper style because the boot is formed more like the leg/paw of a dog. The non-zipper style is more like a stiff tube sock with a rubber sole on one side. The material is thick, and initially my smaller JRTs were bothered by the stiffness and with their limited weight had some difficulty getting the rubber sole to bend. (I’ve included photos of both styles). The zipper style is more difficult to put on, especially if you are doing it by yourself with a less than cooperative dog. The opening is just wide enough to slip on the paw. The top of the boot needs to be held together to get the zipper to slide up. Once the zipper is up there is a single Velcro strap the cinch the top. The non zipper style is easier to get on. It opens very wide and is easy to slide over the paw, and has 2 Velcro straps to cinch he top closed.I found that the recommended sizing worked for the front paws, but the shoes/boots seem too large for the back paws. I will be ordering a smaller size for the back paws. The Velcro straps on the zipper style don’t cinch closed as well as the double Velcro style non-zipper boot.My pets have never worn shows, and they both took to it easily. A little confusion for about 60 seconds, and then off we went for a walk and a jog. Worked great on the pavement. There was some stumbling at first in think grass at the park, but they got used to that as well. The treat is more that adequate to stop heat transfer and cactus needles. It should work well on snow as well, and the sole provides good traction (not a slippery rubber sole). This is the only brand we’ve tried.
