You may have heard the buzz going around these days about the Konjac sponges for cleansing and treating your skin. It is from the konjac plant fiber and it exfoliates, remove toxins, and rejuvenate your skin. It helps bring a glow, smoothness to the skin, and removes blackheads . We have been using konjac sponges for a long time and we just got this one delivered and the quality is comparable to the more expensive ones we are used to buying. When I saw these sponges online I couldn't resist buying it as the price seemed so compelling and since the seller had the money back guarantee clause so we decided to give it a try and we are happy that we did.There are 4 sponges in a gift box by Divine Botanic, for the price that you usually pay for one. If you buy these sponges, I recommend it, besides if you don't like it as much as I do, you can always send it back for a full refund.

I expected to receive a nice box with these sponges and was a little dismayed to realize the box that they come in does have the floral print, but it’s thinner than a shoebox and won’t really hold up for storage. The sponges do seem to be of decent quality. All have strings attached for drying and a mini suction cup with hook for drying the sponges is also included, which was an excellent touch. I just started using these types of sponges not long ago but they make your skin feel wonderful and smooth! I generally use them to scrub my face either with or without my face wash. I then rinse and hang to dry. I do wish I knew of a way to sterilize these sponges as sponges breed bacteria and that seriously grosses me out. However I think any high-heat method (boiling water/microwave) would ruin the integrity of the sponges. I have a uv cabinet for sterilizing manicure tools and hot stones, I may toss my older konjac sponge in there to see what happens.

I have in the past used Loofah's and Sea Sponges and after I have tried Konjac, have become a convert. Both the original konjac sponge and the charcoal work amazingly well for my face! For me The charcoal version helps a lot with blackheads and other annoying skin issues--My face looks so much clear, brighter and healthier after I started using this product.I have also tried the Aveeno exfoliating pads, but the konjac sponge out performs them by A LOT.I will say it honestly, I was skeptical, when my friend told me about Konjac Sponge and after the first time, I thought that can something so soft really exfoliate my skin?After 2-3 uses, I was sold by the affect on my skin. My coworkers tell me my skin is radiant.I have tried both with face wash, and also post face wash, the effect is the same, however, all depends on the skin type, so feel free to experiment and find your perfect way.

I purchased these sponges based on the positive reviews but my experience was not that good. After opening the box, I noticed a strong chemical-type smell. The odor was similar to that of a strong insecticide. Even though they smelled weird, I really wanted to see if they worked so I used the green (Glow) sponge the first night I received them, thinking the smell would go away after I ran it under the water for a couple of minutes (it didn't help). When I woke the next morning, my face was irritated and bumpy with several bright red blemishes. I opened the other three sponges and noticed the same chemical/insecticide smell so I threw all of them away. I've used the Boscia brand konjac sponge before and it worked pretty well so I was hoping to have the same experience with these sponges. Maybe I got a bad batch or my skin is too sensitive but these did not work out for me.

The face scrubby is too soft. It's not going to exfoliate anything. The gloves are just ok if you apply enough pressure and they don't slide of your hands.

I thought the smooth texture would help with sensitive skin, but it doesn't feel like it's cleaning much. Wish it was a little rougher for exfoliation.

I wrote a not great review earlier and have since changed my mind, I have no problem admitting that, and am happy to be able to do so. I had said this product over another had a bleachy smell. Well, since then, I purchased the other product and realized it also had this same smell. I had not noticed it before, maybe bc this product had been a bit stronger. After using about a dozen times, the smell is gone. Maybe this smell is a natural odor from the sponge, I don't know. So, side by side they are the about the same. I did forget to mention these sponges come in a nice decorative box that would make a nice gift to someone. So I would recommend these sponges, a very good buy and in a pretty box. My apologies to silkrootz Enterprises. I would buy these again and may just purchase a few as gifts

Love the little box and package it comes in. I’d say the material is not very thick nor very exfoliating however for some people with sensitive skin will work wonders. The glove sponges are better for exfoliating body compared to the face ones which are a bit softer, I used them for removing make up and works great. Give 4stars just for the thickness for exfoliating otherwise great product and cute packaging
