Plastic Vinyl Strip for DIY Dog or Cat Door - Doggie Door Replacement Strips, Doghouse or Kennel Door Flap, Pet Products and Supplies

Purchased this item for my dogs foghouse. The vinyl works well it keeps the doghouse warm in winter and cool in summer.

We cut this into strips and hung the strips to cover the dog house opening with it. It made it nice so she could go in and out but was also protected from the rain and snow.

After cutting a flap to size for the exposed door on my outdoor cat's house and hanging attaching it so he can get out quickly if needed, the flap has not flattened after 10 days of use here in South Florida. Granted we have had very mild weather so far, but I'd have thought it would relax by now.It keeps the rain out, but water can still trickle in where it not flat against the wall. I'm thinking of trying to soften the curve with hot air from a hair dryer to see if it will flatten.

Easy to install. Now my dog stays warm on those cold nights. Used for her dog door.

I just wanted to make a temporary doggie door until my custom sized door arrived. But this stuff just doesn't want to lay straight no matter what I do. Tried heating them and leaving them under weight but after a few hours the bottoms curled up again. I just took them off and used the old door because the heat is getting out and air getting in no matter. This stuff is very hard to cut and it's constantly curling drove me crazy. I'm sure it works in some situations but not for mine.

I bought to keep the mess around my parrots cage easier to clean.

I simply cut the product into strips and attached them to the door….. works perfectly
