What species of patchouli is this, hortensis, heyneanus or cablin?

not sure which.....but i can tell you this: i've been wearing spiritual sky patchouli for close to 50 years and this doesn't smell ANYTHING like what it used to, or should. i've had a hard time in recent years finding a true patchouli. good luck.

what about longevity and sillage??!!

I just bought my first bottle & I love it. It’s not so strong everyone knows you are in the room which is what I’ve found with most all patchouli scents. That’s not a problem for me cause I love the smell of patchouli but not everyone does. This bottle I got is more subtle but definitely has a strong ENOUGH odor. I can smell it throughout the whole day but on occasions half way through the day I’ll put a little more on just for an extra boost of scent. I would absolutely recommend this scent as a good buy.

which reviews are you suppose to believe? past cologne descriptions, i've purchased have been totally inaccurate.

Firstly, this patchouly oil is not cologne...it is an essential oil so it is more intense than cologne or perfume. Only a few drops are needed. If you are familiar with patchouly, then I testify that Spiritual Sky 'brand' is the real thing. I have been using this product since 1970!

I just what to know where I can purchase Patchouly that REALLY is Patchouly with a strong and lasting scent not weak and diluted like this product?

Buy it at the companies website. It's cheaper ($4.99) & will probably be fresher than what you will get here.
