Q: I got this bag as a gift is there a link for a replacement strap to buy if mine breaks?

This is a very durable bag and it's hard for me to imagine that the strap would break. For Pete sake you could just use an old belt as a replacement strap.

Q: Are the side pockets zippered? There appears to be two different bags shown in the pictures.

The side pockets have velcro flaps.

Q: How will this handle being in the rain?

It's water resistant, but you couldn't leave it out in the soaking rain for any length of time.
