They're pretty good for what we use them for
My bf just wanted to get these for his toothbrush and electric shaver since he goes through so many batteries. These actually provided more power to each of the devices than regular batteries, so i was impressed. You could actually feel the difference in power. The charge it came with only lasted about a few weeks of moderate use, but we haven't had to recharge them since the first time and it's been almost 2 months. They charged pretty quickly, unfortunately I don't know the exact time. We plugged them in before going to bed and they were good to go in the morning.I like the way they recharge too since they come with cords you plug directly into the batteries and you don't need to put them in a separate battery charger. We're not using these for anything crazy, so we're happy with them. We actually ended up buying another size from this company/brand and they work just as well.

So far so good
I have several battery powered things in my house, and in most cases the cheap batteries work good enough. But in some items (especially with motors) they don't work, and even the expensive name brand alkaline batteries fade fast, and cost adds up quick. This is where lithium rechargeable really shine as voltage stays constant until they are dead (both good and bad) . I like that you don't need a separate unique charger for these, and unlike some other "AA" lithium batteries (delepow) these are the same size as AA batteries allowing them to be used in appliances that have tight tolerances

Saving money!
I have bought many of these use them all over the house and have extras to swap out when needed. Highest capacity for the price. Don’t seem to work well with smart scale shows low battery after day one of swap but still worked for a month.

good value
good value for the cost, seems to be working well

These cells are laughably bad!
Getting a true 1.5v from a rechargeable cell is nice, if you have an application where the voltage matters. e.g. an LED light. However, the capacity is embarrassingly bad. The product listing here says that it's 550 mWh, which is a trick that vendors use to suggest that their product is better than it is. Most cells use mAh ratings, so if you're just skimming numbers, you might be deceived. A 550 mWh rating is only 337 mAh at 1.5v.If you look at comparable NiMH AAA cells, you'll easily find claimed ratings of 800 mAh. Which puts these cells at LESS THAN HALF of the capacity. And that's for the vendor-suggested capacity. Especially with the less reputable vendors, there's usually a good amount of exaggeration going on here. In my real-world usage of these cells (in a head lamp), the actual capacity is laughably bad.If you believe that these cells will last long between recharges solely because they're lithium, you will be in for a rude awakening.I did a test comparing the runtime of the cells in my head lamp. These cells lasted less than 30 minutes. My old NiMH AAA cells lasted more than 8 hours before I decided to just shut it off.Update: After less than one year of occasional use in a head lamp, one of the cells is completely dead. A 25% defective rate is unacceptable.

Fabulous Idea!
This is great, didn't want to see the old batteries in the trash.

WARNING: Top post (positive end) gets H-O-T when charging!
I got these lithium D-batteries to go in an RV refigerator fan, where temps can get a bit cold for my normal metal-hydride Eneloop rechargeables. These do seem to work well for this purpose.Since my normal charger is for Eneloops, I wanted batteries like this which can be recharged directly using the USB-C ports on the batteries themselves. But when recharging these batteries, please note that the positive terminal, the little post at top, gets EXTREMELY hot! I measured both of mine at 104.5 degrees - which could be dangerous if they're touching something else while recharging.I presume that's normal, because both my batteries got that hot, but both of them charged normally and of course cooled down to normal temps when charging was complete - as indicated by the built-in LED stops blinking and just glows steady. So just make sure the batteries are upright with nothing else around when recharging.Speaking of those LED charge indicators: On one of my two batteries that indicator was fairly bright and visible, just under the top of the battery. But the other one was so dim I wasn't sure it was even on. But on closer inspection it was, the LED was just dim. I don't know if this is due to a problem, or just variability in LED brightness, or what, but it doesn't inspire confidence in quality control. In any case, the batteries seem to work fine and recharge normally. Just watch those hot posts! And be prepared for wide variability in LED brightness.

So far so good in my Lutron Roller Shades.
I got tired of replacing and discarding many D-cells for my Lutron Shades so decided to try 12 of these D-cell rechargeable. After a full charge, I inserted them into the shade about a couple of weeks ago and seem to be working fine thus far. Can't tell how long they'll last yet but even if for a few months, I think it'll be worth it rather than the waste of discarding many regular D cells each time. I may decide to order more for the rest of my shades in a few months time.
