Another enjoyable entertainment treat from Brendan O'Carroll ( Mrs Brown).
I must admit I am a Mrs Bown convert after first watching a DVD at my daughters some weeks ago and wondering what the hell I was watching with the bad language etc. until now when I look forward to any new stuff Mrs Brown comes up with ( the one exception was thre film which was terrible.)So I enjoyed this DVD very much even though as with most of Brendan O'Carroll's Discs, some items you remember from previous series on DVD or seen on the TV.

Live in your livingroom, Christmas at the Brown's
Having attended the show live but not in the best of seats I was hoping that a live performance of the show would make it's way DVD or Bluray so I could catch the parts which were missed. While certain parts have been slightly trimmed (or perhaps it was improvising on the live show I saw) the Bluray catches the full essence of the show. While some of the gags may be dated or predictable it is still a fun watch and easy to see why the Christmas specials are always a ratings winner!

Perfect gift for Mrs Brown's fans!
I've bought several DVDs of Mrs Brown's Boys as gifts for fans of the series now and they have all gone down well. They've always found the live shows funnier than the TV series so would definitely buy another live show. Clearly Mrs Brown seems to have gathered quite a following of dedicated fans, although I wouldn't recommend buying for someone who is offended easily.

Very funny, would recommend.
If you can stomach the occasional vulgar language, you'll love this series. Very funny and enjoyable for anyone who, like I said, doesn't mind a bit of foul language for the sake of comedy.
