Good size. Sturdy. Good handle. Effective. Pity about the delivery. Will someone at Amazon please tell the local depot manager that it is not sufficient to leave goods on a doorstep 10 metres from a footpath. I appreciate that delivery speed is important but with a blind wife and being closer to 90 than 80 it would be a great help to ring the doorbell and wait for the few seconds that it takes to reach the door.

This is the best oil guard I got. I have tried some others and they are not as good. This seems like it has 2-3 meshes so it is still letting the inside of a pan evaporates and nothing other than that passess through. The handle folds and makes it easier to store. You get what you pay and it's worth it.

Don’t have to keep washing the walls every time I’ve cooked a steak now! Just chuck it in the dishwasher when done.

I was skeptical at first about stopping odours, but this does work and is a good quality item. I have used it while frying onions and also while pan-frying chicken. It filters about 90% of the smell and also stops spluttering oil flying everywhere. There is a filter inside the mesh which cant be removed so the item will have to be replaced maybe after a few years depending upon use, but its well worth the cost.

Does the job, stops splatters and reduces frying odours, doesn't eliminate odours but certainly reduces smell. Easy to clean, would recommend, especially if your extractor fan isn't very good.
