this measurement is for the 3xl compression sleeves.  It tapers down so at the top it measures approx 5.5 inches.  at the bottom is approx 4.25 inches.  The total length is 11 inches.  This item stretches in both directions so do not worry that it will not be long enough. For me, I am about 15 inches from the ankle to the top part of my calf.  It is very comfortable.  When I ordered my first pair, I was almost at 22 inches for my measurement.  the 2xl was too tight, so I strongly recommend ordering the next size up if you are within an inch of the top measurement of the size you choose.  if that makes sense.  Since I started to wear these, it has drastically increased my comfort level working retail all day.
