I’ve tried a lot of protein powders, but Equip’s Prime Protein in Vanilla has really set itself apart. I am absolutely amazed! This stuff blends so well, so quickly. There’s no gritty taste, smooth as silk. The vanilla flavor is delicious. You would not know that it was made from beef, there’s no beef or gamey flavor at all. No stomach issues, no bloating. Expensive? Yes, but for me worth every penny!

Okay so I want to start by saying that I am a very optimistic/positive person by nature so it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. BUT I feel that it’s necessary because of the overall good rating on this protein powder and I want people to know that there are more opinions out there on this. I used to drink the Gold Standard vanilla whey, have tried a pea protein one… and on my quest to have more natural ingredients in my life, I recently tried NAKED and then Prime Equip. I was so excited to try this one because I’d heard good things and I love the simplicity of the ingredients. The package arrives on my porch, and I’m so excited so I run out and grab it and tear open the package. The smell is overwhelming. It’s smells like vanilla cake batter but like a very chemically processed smell along with it. I wasn’t going to judge solely off smell though. So I put some in a glass with milk and used my handheld frother to mix it up. HOW do people get this mixed in? It’s sticky on your hands/everything it touches, and it doesn’t break down in a blender bottle or with a frother. Which is a huge convenience factor for me. It’s super chunky and after it’s mixed in (even with the nutribullet, which is what I would recommend), it separates to the top and gets chunky again. I’m so disappointed. I got the chocolate and the vanilla, and the chocolate taste is better than the vanilla (which just tastes like straight chemicals I don’t know how). But they’re both pretty bad. For the price of these, it’s a real bummer that you can’t return them. A sample packet would be nice to be able to taste test in future but overall I’m really disappointed and would not recommend this protein powder.

Yeah this tastes good. It’s super foamy and doesn’t mix wel but most beef isolate is like that. It was what I was looking for and I will be putting this on auto. I don’t like Equips’ bars because they are full of sugar, and some of the proteins have sugar too but the stevia chocolate or vanilla powder is good from this brand. They sold me for now. A good way to get more protein in for GLP users Update: I feel like I need to give an update because I do believe in giving credit where credit is due. I am still giving this only 4 stars because honestly I do not like ANYTHING else this brand sells EXCEPT the vanilla protein powder. Their bars are loaded with sugar and both the chocolate and strawberry bars were taste awful (only line of protein bar I can’t finish in THREE months). The chocolate protein powder flavor is also just awful. I love chocolate in general but I don’t love theirs. HOWEVER the vanilla protein powder is the money. I use this DAILY in my coffee and in a plant base complete meal powder that I need more protein-this stuff wins. The foam is actually a plus because it makes it so my coffee is more like a cappuccino and sometimes I just skip cream altogether when I want the macros tighter. The vanilla protein powder just works and works well for me.

So far I'm quite satisfied with this protein powder. Looking at many other options, this product has the least number of ingredients compared to many others I looked at, and the ingredients are organically/naturally sourced. I prefer beef collagen protein over whey and unlike what other reviewers have said, this does not even remotely smell like beef. I put one scoop in my first morning coffee; I usually have 2-3 cups daily. I use a frother vs a spoon to mix, and have no issues with clumping like other reviewers mentioned..it actually looks like a cappuccino. It is a bit on the sweet side, but if it really bothered me I would just do half scoop in each cup. For context I'm using the vanilla flavored. Price point is a bit steep, but then again anything natural/organic usually is.

I like the lack of ingredients, that's why I bought it. I don't like whey protein and the don't offer that. 5⭐️ Mixing it in chai tea is troublesome. But not the end of the world. 3⭐️ The flavor would be fine if I was going for beef bone broth vanilla milkshake. 0⭐️. I looked at the bag again and thought to myself, of course it does. I'm bummed. I tried a scoop in my beef bone broth. Schmeh. I wont purchase it again. I don't know if they have samples, but I do recommend buying a sample 1st. I read the reviews, some people like it.

Simple clean and tastes fabulous

This is rich in collagen as it’s naturally derived out of beef. You get the complete protein profile of all amino acids and nitrogen to lean out and build a dense muscle. I preferred chocolate flavour but vanilla is also not that bad.
