Got it as a mat for doing artwork. Works great for that. Nice and smooth, allowing you to tape your paper down. Protects your table from spills, scratches and art media.

I have white Formica countertops that hold any food stains. I ordered this to prevent stains on my countertops. It is large so I can use it when preparing food. I don’t use it to cut on but it would work for sure. It’s not flimsy like most flexible boards and is great for the money.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. White or semi-transparent cutting mats are not easy to find. My countertop is white grouted tile, and I wanted something that could be left out to protect from stains, but did not detract from the white surface. This translucent material is perfect. The mat is an extremely generous size and appears to be sturdy enough to stand up to slicing and dicing. It does, however, show cut marks from certain angles, but they appear to be superficial; you are after all using a sharp knife! I certainly haven't cut through the plastic. I will purchase this mat again.

This definitely isn't your typical review for a cutting board, but it does give just one example of just how versatile this product is. Aside from the unconventional application below, this sturdy, easy-clean board would be fantastic for a various crafts and I'll probably get more of these in assorted sizes just for the craft room. :-)We needed something flexible, yet sturdy, waterproof and easy to clean that would fit inside the back edge of our large litter box as an extended "backsplash". This jumbo flexible cutting board was perfect for the task and was far more economical than the rotary cutting boards we've used in the past. This board works so well as a shield to keep our boy kitty's accidental "oversprays" inside the large litter box that we bought 2 more cutting boards to use as a 3-sided shield for the other litter box. So far they don't seem to absorb odors or etch like the rotary cutting boards did, which is another huge plus.So, if you're a crafter or have kids or cats, there are plenty of other unique uses for the Norpro Jumbo Flexible Cutting Board. :-)

The only negative is that one corner was bent when I removed it from the box, so it sticks up when on the counter. Other than that, it's a good product.

I used this to cut out a sewing pattern for a pillow I sell. This is perfect for that kind of use. It will probably hold up for years compared to paper. I am so glad I tried this. It was easy to cut, yet sturdy.

This works perfect to trim dough for baking and other very light cutting. I don't intend to use it as a primary cutting board for heavy duty cutting as it would dull your knives quickly. Limit its use to light cutting and you will be satisfied. If you are looking for a thin primary cutting board, buy a thin bamboo cutting board which would be kinder to your knives.

I really love these flexible cutting mats. I first purchased a couple like these about five years ago at Chefs Toys, and I still have them, but started using them for crafts, so I wanted some new ones for my food prep. The quality of these mats are nicer than the ones I first purchased, the surface feels almost like Teflon, it is very smooth, stuff slides across it very well. I use some as a work surface on my workbench and need to be careful what items I place near an edge because the slightest nudge could send stuff sliding right off. I also like the fact that these are made in USA! I will not buy ANY cooking utensil made in China, no pots, pans, spatulas, cutting boards etc. They use toxic chemicals in all their products, so I don't want to be ingesting that crap. This item was also shipped perfectly, in a large flat box so that the item was not bent, and it arrived in pristine condition. I would definitely recommend this item as well as the manufacturer, I am purchasing more of the smaller size ones for use in my shop.
