Use these mostly in omelette dishes or when we fancy an all day breakfast... Perfect for when I'm feeling exhausted and want to make something quickly... Take when we go camping as easy to store and lasts a long time... Mostly I make healthy meals and take time to think of ingredients, but we all have days when lazy and convenient is acceptable...

Good quality tinned potatoes
These are versatile, convenient and quick to use as they're already cooked. It's true that all tinned potatoes have a slightly different flavour which isn't as nice as with fresh ones, but they're absolutely fine in dishes where they blend with other, stronger flavours. I like the D'Aucy brand.

Bought these on a whim.I have tried numerous tinned potatoes before and frankly they were disgusting.But I have to say these are blooming lovely they almost have a buttery taste to them.I tried them this eveningI steamed some red onions peppers and courgettes, heated the potatoes and cooked some long grain white rice (I added a veg stock pot)A unusual combination but it was yummy.I am going to try draining the next tin and airfrying them to make roasties yummy.I think these tins are great value plus they are ring pull so no need for a tin opener.twill definitely be ordering more.
