Good product for this price point
I bought two pairs of these chairs. One piece had a crack in it and I was missing one set of a bolt, nut and washer. I glued the cracked board with gorilla glue and the hardware was $1 at Home Depot. The chairs are pretty descent for this price point. Just to ensure they last a couple years (I hope) I went ahead and stained then varnished each one before I put them together. To do all 4 of these it took about 4 hours of time over two days to allow drying time before assembly. I'm 6'5" tall and weigh almost 300, and these chairs hold me. I sat in all of them. I've had a couple parties and my adult boys have had friends over and sat in them many times over the last 3 months since I bought them. Since they are varnished, I'm going to leave them out by the firepit all winter - maybe we'll have a warm evening and we'll burn something? I give them 4 stars because I think these could be really good chairs if the lumber was sourced to be a full 7/8th - 1 inch thick. They are just under 3/4". I know that would add to the cost a little bit, but it would be a really good end product eliminating most of the cracking and strength questions. Also, I would put one extra screw, nut, bolt, washer in each back - this couldn't cost more than a few pennies and could also help with satisfaction issues with missing hardware.

Wood too soft
Went together easy.Finished it with boiled linseed oil.Has a great natural look. However the wood is too soft. And the wood screws for the armrest tore out when I was getting out of the chair. We just bought the two In a package deal to see if we should buy some more.We will not.And look for a more durable product.

Good chairs for the price
Pretty good for the price, considering the usual cost of wooden adirondack chairs. I bought four pairs. Wood is very light and pretty thin. Some screw holes were stripped on one chair, fixed that and finished with thompsons water seal. Hope they hold up! They will work well if so.

Not even good for firewood.
We received the chairs, Hubs put at least 2 hours into putting them together. Then I put at least 2 hours into staining and sealing. The first time they were used the wood split in 2 places on one of the chairs - the back split & one of the arms split. Hubs took the chairs home, took them apart & they are now in our fire wood pile.We emailed the seller who today sent a return label. But the box is gone, and because they're all taken apart now, it's not going to be easy to ship them. So we will just burn them. Lesson learned. We've had other Adirondack chairs that we've had for years. (Not by these sellers.) They need the screws tightened once in a while, but we've never purchased anything that was as cheaply made as these. Seriously, the screws just pulled through the wood and the wood splintered & split. It's worth it to pay a few dollars more and get something safe!

Great Value For the Money
I love these chairs!!! They are sturdy, real wood, and they work perfectly for an outdoor space. I am definitely buying more. They are an incredible value for the money.

Great seller and value!
Thanks for being a great seller. Without going into details, this seller worked with us on an issue and were great. Put together easily, spray primed and painted to match patio cover and went through winter great. Drinks around Fire Pit. Are they the restaurant quality of a $400 chair, no. If you want that, buy that. These exceed their value:cost and the seller is great!

Good for very light people. Not good for people who will share them with guests.
They look nice. They are easy to assemble. They were a fraction the cost of oak or teak chairs. But, you get what you pay for. The wood is very soft; during assembly it's easy to tighten the screws to the point where they go straight through the wood. One of the arm rests was split down the middle so I needed to glue it together before assembling that one. Both chairs made a loud cracking noise when I sat in them. I only weigh 150 lbs, so having guests use these chairs may be risky, especially heavier people. It's a guarantee that if someone tries to stand on the chairs, the chairs will break.

They aren't incredibly sturdy - I used for event staging which was perfect ...
arrived missing several bolts and nuts, so began with a run to Home Depot for the missing parts. They aren't incredibly sturdy - I used for event staging which was perfect but would not have been comfortable with the idea of adults sitting in them. The wood itself is beautiful, and they looked great.
