No-nonsense, durable, great for all kinds of activities -- these are quite possibly the best shorts in the world
I've been buying these shorts for years now (I've probably got seven pairs of them at this point), and I can honestly say they're my favorite shorts. I wear them almost every day for running/working out/dancing/biking and just plain hangin' around, and my boyfriend borrows them too. It's hard to find shorts like this anymore -- like the original Umbro ones. I see a few reviews that say the material isn't good, but I think that's just personal preference. I prefer the somewhat structured feel of these to the drape-y, stretchy material most shorts are made out of these days. If you want a pair of shorts that's going to cling to your body, these aren't the ones you want.Anyway, these are the features I like about this product:* Waistband stays in place and can also be folded over.* Very durable -- can be washed, dried, sweated on, biked in, scooted down rocks in, used as a hat in hail situations -- the only reason I've had to keep buying more is because I like the white ones the best, and I eventually spill enough things on them to necessitate buying a new pair for fancy occasions.* The material is somewhat structured-feeling, which makes these great for activities that involve awkward body positions (like squats and crunches and cartwheels and stuff -- the activities where regular shorts tend to ride up and expose you. But not these!)* The length is perfect. They aren't too short or too long.* None of that tapered leg business with these bad boys -- the leg holes are wide enough to support full range of motion.

I loved the feel of the shorts
I've got a wider build (38" waist, thicker thighs and an actual bum); I loved the feel of the shorts, and I think the material just doesn't allow for give. If I had a slimmer build, I'd definitely purchase them, because everything else fit about them, they were just a little constrictive. I ordered another pair from this company and they fit just fine - but they were a material with a little bit of stretch. I loved the material and the feel. Would recommend for anyone that wants old-style soccer shorts.

These shorts fall apart
These shorts are great...when they don't disintegrate. I have bought about 4 pairs of these a year for a few years now. One or two have had a faulty seam and they have replaced the pair. This time though all the pairs were shredded during the first workout. The side, front and back seams literally just fell apart on ALL three pairs. I'm just going to pay for better quality than deal with this crap shoot.

Great shorts
Only complaint is that I wish it had pockets

Almost just like 80's style Umbro's
In looking through the internet for a pair of Umbro style soccer shorts like I had back in the late 80's or early 90's I found these. Very happy thus far. They are more satin sheen vs. the checker board Umbro but appear to be built about the same. Not too long, not too short and no inner liner. Very comfortable, and thus far very happy with the purchase. I would recommend them if you are searching for what I was initially.

Fit Great-Nice Lenght!
These were perfect for my son for soccer. He usually wears an 18 husky so we ordered the Men's Medium. They fit great! They are a great length, rather than being long because they are a Men's size, they hit just above the knee on him. Will definitely be ordering more for the rest of the soccer season!

These have a weird cut to them
I miss the old-school shadow box Umbros soccer shorts which apparently are only made these days for seven-year old girls. These shorts seemed like a good substitute and have been on my shopping list for years. I finally ordered a pair and there is a weird cut in the crotch area. The search continues.
