Good belt tension measurement tool. Good price and well made. Works well and good size for all automotive and motorcycle belts.

Works great for adjusting the belt deflection of my final drive belt on my 2000 Softail Standard. It is a simple tool to use, tool works great, and I would suggest buying one of these if you don't have one. It takes the guess work out of adjusting your belt tension. Ask yourself this question- Why pay a stealership a fortune to adjust your final drive belt tension when you can do it yourself the same way that they do it with a quality tool ? If you care about your bike, want to save yourself time, money, guessing, you do your own maintenance, and you want longer belt life you should buy one of these. If you willingly want to support the stealership buying their promotional trash, lies, and deception of their customers you have no class and shouldn't buy one of these because it is not for those people. This is what they check your belt with and its no different than a oem tool. I have one of the overpriced oem tool I purchased many years ago that is identical to this tool. This tool is for people who work on their own bikes, who actually ride them a lot, don't have time for nonsense. So If you proudly own a bike you keep ready to ride 24 hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days out of the year, and actually read this review you understand where I am coming from and have earned your raisin pie.

I compared this to my H-D branded belt tool and they are identical and equally accurate. If you have a belt driven bike- you NEED one of these to get the proper tension.

Bought this for my 2004 Road King knowing that I would need to replace the U-shaped bracket that fits under the belt. The OEM belt guard on the 04' Road King borders the belt on both sides. I measured the width of this space and understood that the U-shaped bracket, as shipped, would not fit inside the belt guard. The device itself works fine if your belt is not bordered on both sides with the plastic guard. My 01 Wide Glide and 01 Heritage have the plastic guard on one side only and this device will work on both bikes. I will be turning out a new belt bracket for this device that fits over the belt and inside the guard for my 04 Road King. I like the fact that it takes the guesswork out of the 10 lb pressure adjustment. Suggest checking your belt guard set up before purchasing.

Simple tool used to ensure I set the tension right on the drive belt on my motorcycle. Very easy to use, been using for a couple years now and still seems accurate and does the job well.
