Salt Adhesive is a a unique salt glue designed specifically for Himalayan salt. Its unique formula provides a long-lasting bond that will withstand the test of time. Use Salt Adhesive to build your own Himalayan salt wall or to repair your Himalayan salt products. Using regular glue can react with salt and result in the backlight not being able to pass through. The clear adhesive is a specifically custom-made sealant for Himalayan salt blocks that will not react to the salt and will allow light to pass through it. All surfaces to be bonded should be wiped clean and free of dirt. Apply one bead per inch of covered area. Let cure for 24 hours. When constructing walls, build in stages and up to a reasonable height. One cartridge of Saltite is good for joining up to 30 Himalayan salt bricks. Weight is 0.86 pounds. Review: Didn’t come with applicator piece - Seems good so far. Bought this to repair an expensive salt lamp I have that is cracking. No odor, easy clean up if it gets on your skin. Wish they sold it in a smaller tube for smaller projects such as mine. It didn’t come with the applicator tip which was a bit of a pain but I was still able to make it work. I appreciate finding something safe to use.
