This stuff is a god send!!! My adolescent cat wouldn’t pee in the litter box after I tried using a heavily scented litter one time, even after disposing of the litter and switching back to unscented. After weeks of him peeing on my floors I bought this and he started going in the litter box again. I stopped using it after about a month and he’s still using the litter box, so it seems to have corrected the behavior permanently. I rescued a very young kitten so she didn’t have mom to teach her how to dig and it wasn’t coming to her intuitively either.I did everything recommended: Using a low-cut carton as a litter box to make it more accessible, putting the box in a dark corner, using kitten-safe litter, sitting patiently with her and gently moving her paws myself in a digging motion, having her watch my other adult cat use the big litter box, placing her poops in the box so she could smell that that’s where it goes, I even got so desperate that I… Put the kitty in front of my tablet and had her watch videos of cats using litter boxes. She attentively watched, but she just wasn’t getting it. She would play in the litter box but that’s as far as it went. Nothing worked. For a good month, I was sanitizing the floor and mopping daily because she’d pee/poop in random spots. I had seen this product before but didn’t think I’d ever need it because kittens are typically pretty intuitive and don’t need the extra help. I finally bought it and poured a generous amount into her box and then I placed the kitty in the box so she could smell it. I checked the box a few hours later and was so happy to see that IT WORKED! When I changed the litter, I purposely didn’t put any powder to see if she’d still use it and she did. She hasn’t had any issues since. I highly recommend this product!

Product has worked very well for our female cat that has some urinary indiscretion issues. That being said, we will not order from Amazon again. They packed it in a box with heavy items. The lid popped off and the contents of the box were covered in this product. The lid popping off is an issue in general, but the other heavy items definitely contributed. I cleaned out what I could and dumped it back in the container, but lost a lot of product in the process. When I ordered from another supplier, this was shipped separately in a well packed box.

Bought this to encourage cats to start using automatic litter box. It hasn't helped yet. Hope it will work soon.

This really makes a difference! I recently brought an outside kitty inside and she was kind of just choosing random spots to go and if i put the litter box in that area after, she would go beside of it. Immediately after I sprinkled this into the litter, she started using the box instead and has continued to for over a week. I have been sprinkling a little each morning and will continue to do so and just use it less frequently. Game changer!!

I was concerned about the reviews where it busted open in shipping but was relieved when the product arrived intact. Then I went to use it in the litter boxes. It didn't want to come out of the shaker side of the lid because the holes were too small so I used the other side for pouring. The lid came off and the whole can dumped into the litter box. I had to have someone bring me a large serving spoon so I could put it back into the can. When I did the second box, I held my finger on the lid so it wouldn't come off again. I will have to duct tape it on. Haven't checked yet to see if the attractant was successful but I don't think I will be having this shipped again due to the possibility of the lid coming off in shipping (or while using).We have two cats and one is put off by smells so I hope this works because it has a weird smell, sort of like oregano and pine. The other brand wants you to use in clay. The cats like that litterbox (Clean Paws). The other litterbox has lightweight clumping litter (they rarely use that one preferring my sofa instead). I tried some in there since others said this brand works on both types to use up that litter. We use unscented litter.

It works. I brought home a new little kitty last week and his first few days he was having accidents around the house even though I showed him where his litter box was and kept him in a small area. On the fourth day I used this product and he was immediately interested. He hasn’t had an accident since then and is always interested when I sprinkle more of this product on his litter.

This works. I adopted an outdoor rescue cat that I needed to train to use a litter box. This product works especially if you can get some of their misplaced feces in the litter box with it. The other trick is to try to find litter that similar to what the kitten was using outside. In my kitten's case, it was rocks, so I bought a buy a bag of small pebbles, mixed litter in and stirred in this product.
