Cheaper than Nyquil, and still gets the job done. I honestly cannot tell the difference.

Works as good as the name brands, good price too

This nighttime cold and flu medicine works just as well as the name brand for taking the edge off symptoms so you can actually rest. When I was sick recently, I was glad I already had it in the cabinet — it helped with the aches, pains, fever, and cough enough to get me through the night. Ease of use is straightforward: the bottle pours cleanly, the dosage cap is clearly marked, and the texture is smooth, not syrupy or overly thick. It’s simple to take right before bed. The smell and taste are exactly what you’d expect from a cherry nighttime medication — an artificial cherry scent that reminds me of cherry hard candy. Not amazing, not terrible, just standard and easy enough to get down. Amazon lists the inactive ingredients right on the label, and while it’s still an over-the-counter medicine, it doesn’t have any odd fragrances or menthol added. It’s the typical mix you’d expect from nighttime formulas — nothing harsh-smelling or overwhelming. One thing to note: this version doesn’t include a nasal decongestant. If you primarily have a runny or congested nose, look for the Severe version. But for nighttime aches, fever, cough, and general “I feel terrible” symptoms, this works exactly the way it should. For the price, it’s great to keep on hand for cold and flu season.

I’ve used Amazon Basic Care Night Time Cold & Flu Liquid on nights when symptoms made it hard to fully rest, and it did exactly what I was hoping for. Taking it before bed helped ease that restless, uncomfortable feeling that comes with congestion, coughing, and body aches, making it easier to settle in and stay asleep longer. The cherry flavor was manageable and not overly medicinal, which helped when taking it late at night. What stood out most was waking up feeling more rested instead of exhausted from tossing and turning. It didn’t knock me out in a harsh way, but it took the edge off enough that my body could actually relax and recover. During sick nights when sleep feels impossible, this felt like a dependable option to keep on hand and reach for when rest matters most.

Product is okay however not coded correctly for HSA. It is coded as a grocery store item and not as a medicine. Repeatedly denied and had to pay with an alternative method.

I use this every night because I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine. Works as needed and doesn't taste terrible. Subscribe and save gives a bit of a discount for consistent use, although sometimes delivery is delayed, g-r-r-r-r. At least I'm not running to the store every couple of weeks to buy this stuff.

Has same ingredients as NyQuil. Should work just as well.
