The bePRO cycling power meter measures power exactly where force is exerted: at the pedals. Thanks to separate power sensors in each pedal, the bePRO power meter can precisely keep track of differences in performance between the left and the right leg. Obviously, this can be very helpful for competitive cyclists, but also for amateurs who require precision information to improve their performance. The bePRO power meter is also offered as a single-sensor version, the bePRO S, making it a great entry-level power meter, which can be upgraded to a full, dual-sided system anytime. The use of cutting-edge materials brings the weight of the bePRO sensor down to only 16g. We proved its weight of only 312g (total for both pedals) on a precision scale. The bePRO power meter weighs nearly 100g less than the Powertap P1 and nearly 50g less than the Garmin Vector power meter. But its light weight does not compromise accuracy: we tested the bePRO power meter on a laboratory-grade cycling ergometer. The bePRO power meter stayed well within a tolerance of ±2%. Installation can be completed with ease within minutes, requiring neither the assistance of a mechanic nor the need to remove wheels, calibrate the device or install external sensors (first time installation might take a little longer, but once one is familiar with the process, it is very easy to switch the system between bikes). The bePRO pedals come with a pair of cleats and are compatible with almost any road cycling shoe. In case you are already using Look Keo pedals, you don't even need to change your cleats. The bePRO power meter is 100% compatible with original Look Keo cleats. The rechargeable lithium-ion batteries have a 30 hour life, regardless of whether one is racing or training. The bePRO power meter is compatible with every bike or triathlon computer supporting ANT+ transmission.

so far I really love these. They weren't too hard to install
so far I really love these. They weren't too hard to install, except that they have switched the threading on the lock nut from the original instructions, there is a separate sheet that comes with it explaining this but it took me thirty minutes to figure that out. Otherwise they work fabulously, synced with my Garmin 920 immediately, and I started getting a lot of really good data from the start. So far I'm very pleased

Just ok
Pedals are OK, but require some voodoo magic during the installation.Power measurement is more accurate than Garmins and Powertap pedals. Figures are pretty the same as for my Sram Red Quarq. With the overall power accurate, there is something wrong with the right-left balance. It seems that one of pedals consistently steels 5-7% from another. And that "thief" randomly changes. One day it can be 45-55% for the favor of the left pedal, another day 56-44% for the right. Static and dynamic calibrations didn't solve the issue.Wish the battery life was longer, but on the other hand, pedals are charged via the mini-USB port and it's available everywhere. Also there is quite fancy PC application that allows running test, updating software and do other things for your pedals.Pro's:1. Price - these are much cheaper than other pedal based power meters.2. Accurate power measurement.3. Weight - these are very light. Just about 30 grams extra comparing to simple pedals.Cons:1. Accessories availability - for now any accessories are available only in Europe. Delivery cost may exceed the overall order value.2. Weird L-R balance3. Rather short battery life - about 20 hours.4. Not the easiest installation process.

Buy the garmin from Garmin...
They work well when they are calibrated correctly, but they are easy to fall out of alignment.I was on a bumpy road and after one bump, my power meter became unaligned and therefore in-calibrateable, that was at mile 20 of a 60 mile bike ride... Next time i'll have to take the tools to fix it with me.The re-chargeable aspect is nice, but the rubber door came off one side already. - bePRO will not count this as warranty and you have to buy new ones directly from them... oh, and they are in Europe, so $50(international shipping) for some $2 covers!
