Viperby GLD Products Viper Shadow Buster Dartboard Cabinet Mounted Display Light

I've been using this over my board for a few weeks now and it has proven to be an excellent lamp. It was easy to install though I found the heads of the screws easy to strip. It is important to use the right screwdriver and to screw them in by hand into predrilled holes. The lighting this provides is very good. There are shadows but that has to be expected given the overhead position of the light. Only a ring light would completely eliminate shadows. The three lamps can be adjusted to give even coverage to the board. Nice feature. The whole thing can be flipped over but I found this feature to be unnecessary for my setup. The ON/OFF switch is easy for me to reach. Changing batteries will require a step stool.

The Shadow Buster is a great way to light up the board. The light's position can be moved for best result and then locked in place.

UPDATE: Got in touch with the manufacturer customer service and they sent a new light. So far so good!Purchased 2 months ago, worked well for the first month, now the lights are very dim even with brand new batteries. I’d return/exchange for a replacement but it’s beyond my return period.

Lights up the board perfectly, the lights twist and are angled to point towards board if U want.. A nice feature! Lights up the metal grid on hoard nicely.

Mounted to the bottom of my dart cabinet and it works perfect. Tighten the screws next to the laser to prevent the beam from shifting. 1000+ throws later and the beam is still in the same spot. Much better than tape on the carpet

Easy to install, works as described. Wish the Lights were a bit stronger, but they are adequate if installed close enough to the dart board. My application is installed a bit higher than a standard cabinet. Due to a higher up install the lighting isn't as vivid as I desired, but is expected and acceptable for the lower $. Best if used as an anhancement in a lighted room. ...see the picture.

Purchased a dart board in a cabinet and realized that it was very dark when playing. Purchased the "Battery Operated" light to provide extra light. The light Uses 4 AA batteries and I had it installed in a few minutes. The light connects to the dart board via two hinges so the light can flip up and over when not in use. The hinges are already secured to the light. Secured the hinges to the dart board with the screws provided (find them in one of the battery compartments). For ease, I pre-frilled a starter hole and installed the screws by hand with a screw driver. I am VERY IMPRESSED with this light and have attached pictures with the light off and when the light is flipped down and turned on. I would definitely purchase this again. Reviewed by G. Swanson.

Now I don’t have to strain to see the board or have all the lights on in the basement. Easy to install, only took me 5 min.
