Does it have a slot in the back for hanging on a wall ?

No it does not. Furthermore it would be difficult to mount this clock flush on a wall because of the location (in the back) of the USB port used to power the device.

Need more info on the plug. Does it have a standard 2 prong plug without a transformer cube?

No! It has a dual USB plug. There’s no transformer cube. It also has 2-USB ports/plugs on back of the clock. If you plan on plugging it into your wall electric outlet, it comes with a separate USB adapter. This clock is the newest version of this X-Large display clock.

Daylight saving time, how do you change the hour?

On the back of the clock hit the time set button. The hour will flash. Hit the AL.ON/OFF button. It will move the hour back.
