The media could not be loaded. I bought this very expensive hinge set to hang a swinging door for our walk-in closet. The door I made is just shy of 1 and 3/4 inches thick where the hinges mount and weighs in excess of 45 lbs. When I first mounted the hinges, they made a terrible loud squeal when in operation very similar to what another reviewer reported (they also made a video of it). I contacted the seller through Amazon and they responded with-in a few hours on a weekend. The seller stated to remove tension on the springs (which is very easy to do) and apply 3-in-1 oil to the vertical space behind each bracket. I used silicone spray because that's what I had on hand. It worked perfectly, no more squeak! It may be a maintenance thing I'll need to repeat in the future, but it's so easy... With that said, I almost gave it 4 stars because it still makes a mechanical sound (springs tensioning) but with something this beefy it is kind of expected. So, with good customer service and the fact that it works perfectly with my heavy door... I'm a happy camper.

Great product! Installed myself and is holding up very well on my heavy 2-way swinging door. Had a question about lubricating the hinge and they answered very quickly! Would definitely purchase again!

Super strong

Tried the smaller hinges 3" and the door (prob 45lbs - 34 1/2" width) fell on ground. Ordered 3 of these hinges and 2 did the trick. They work great 👍!

Salon Doors were hung by this product. Considering your company left me absolutely no aid, I managed to get my salon doors hung. The screws striped out! Very poor quality. And again, no contact, no guidelines, no recourse.I wanted a 5” hinge and had to order a 6”. Very expensive hinges!!

The media could not be loaded. Pretty tough suckers! I wanted my pantry door to be indestructible and with these four hinges it is! I can officially slam that door. I had them professionally put on with the door frame so I can’t comment on assembly but they are exactly what you need for a swinging pantry door.

The quality does not meet the price standard. It is quite easy to install,difficult to adjust, still kept because troublesome to remove it again.

After removing the tension pen, the install was simple. The combination of the two hinges I purchased have been holding up a rather heavy outdoor shower door. This, by its nature, is going to be a consistently wet environment. After only 4 months of use, the hinges are showing heavy signs of rust.
