God's Not Dead 2 [Blu-ray]

Extremely disappointed in this attempt at a sequel. The pastor character played by David A.R. is a wreck. He makes men of God look like complete dorks; seems tired and agitated when someone needs help or counseling (come on!) and just can't and shouldn't be taken seriously. The movie seems to be thrown together in a hurry to address real issues but in a corny, upper middle class unrealistic way. If these characters are Christians, who would want to be one? The Japanese/ Chinese character (not sure which) is a little stereotyped, as is the African? gentleman mentor. Folks, if you're going to depict true Christian life, you're going to have to do better than this! The Newsboys are pretty much themselves and a nice retreat from the corny acting. I am a born-again bible believing Holy Spirit filled man of God who's been through it, I'm active in the ministry, and have been on the road with evangelists and musicians and in some terrible places where people are so hungry for God they're like little birds with their mouths open hoping for food. I've seen God do some amazing things and ran with those who are not afraid to be disciples of Christ, even unto death. So this movie is rather embarrassing to me when I think about how others might see believers through this lens. Like I said, great job on the first movie God's not dead, although even it was definitely centered in the privileged middle class of suburbanite mega-church goers and paints a somewhat diluted picture of the walk with God. Maybe I'm being too critical but if you're going to spend all of this money and time on evangelizing, you might want to step outside of your Lexus and then sell it. Drive an old-beater pickup truck and rub elbows with the downtrodden and desperate. The church has left the building.....risk it all.

Video & sound like a high budget movie. Special effects perfect. Messages well done. Characters very real. We loved it, Bought DVD after watching in theater. One of very few we have watched a second time.Great for non Christians. Great for Christians that do not follow the Christ.

Seriously, do I need to explain how unrealistic every scenario in this movie is? It just panders to conservative Americans that don't know what it's like outside of a christian mindset. I understand the themes this movie is going for, but the judicial system is not that antagonistic. Plus the "christian investigators'" giving their testimony with talking in circles...I'm not impressed film...Oh, let's give some down points for terrible lyrics, shameless & unsubtle product placement, pandering symbolism, the Pureflix producer as a main B-Plot character that has no flaws except when the plot demands it, Chinese stereotypes, all the antagonists are old and depressed looking and overly antagonistic for no reason, and all the protagonists are youthful and virtuous with no flaws, and Christians really believe they are being harassed by the government?? Grow UP! No one normal (nobody racist, or someone persecuting anysortof theism) cares what happens behind the doors of a religion they don't believe in; unless people are getting hurt against their will, or manipulated to; no one is attacking you for your personal views of faith; unless you are the antagonists of this movie; and I can tell you as a temporary resident of FL, Christianity is so alive and well, that it's brainwashed a whole school district with propaganda with the same baseless arguments.

I loved God's not dead 1 and was looking forward to God's not dead 2.I enjoyed both of them, we need more Christ centered movies like these. I know were the next movie ( God's not dead 3) is starting out at and it's a little scary because that's exactly where our world is heading right now. We need to bring God back into every aspect of our lives and our country, not continue to shut Him out of it. I thought Melissa Joan Hart did a great job.

its ok but the first one was better the first one had facts and this one does too but also this movie is like real world problems Christians and Jews are always criticizing because people know gods real they just don't want see the facts they want to be hidden because people think prayer would solve everything but sometimes god lets thing happen to show the truth or the path that you wanted but gave you a better path because god has a bigger plan for you than what you have for yourself and watch the first movie if your still an atheist after this movie and Christian and Jews are always seemed as the bad guy but the real bad guy is the devil.

The first movie was a little contrived but the second movie is awesome! A teacher is prosecuted for what she says in her classroom. The following trial is dramatic and heartbreaking. I highly recommend both sequels to God's Not Dead!!!!

It is eerie that this movie captures this moment in time. It is Feb of 2021, the Biden administration has basiccally imposed censorshio, authorirarian lockdowns, chilling free speech, and changing America overnight in a horrible dystopian way. This movie captured that spirit well and was one of the best faith based movies I ever saw. It was obviously written way before these events.

Great movie, I have the first one and loved it too. It's so great to watch a movie that is clean and about God and it is inspiring and humbling. I can't say enough great things about this movie. I highly recommend it.

This will not play on multi region blu ray/ DVD players in the uk. I have 3 multi region blu ray players and neither the blu ray or DVD will play on them. I have never had a problem with with any USA blu ray or DVD disk before. This product should be discontinued for selling in the U.K. Immediately as it is a complete waste of time and money ordering it.

As with others this disc will not pay in the UK. So looking forward to seeing it again too!

I enjoyed this movie very much. The topic of the trial -- whether a teacher can make mention of the historical Jesus in class during a History lesson if asked about Him by a student. The school board wants the teacher to deny what she said but she refused. However the trial did turn in another direction. Experts were brought in - and these were real people not actors, to bring in proofs of the historic Jesus. The acting was very real, it touched your heart. I was surprised to see how old Pat Boone is but he is still a fine actor.

Excellent movie, very simply the experts prove the existence of Jesus Christ as not only an actual person who lived, but as a historical figure in a world of disbelievers. I have never doubted that Jesus was a real person, but for those who believe Jesus was nothing more than a myth, this movie proves them wrong. I love that the teacher stuck to her convictions and fought the school.

Very well explained about Jesus being here on earth. As it was said in the movie, there are so much evidence through history to verify the presence of Jesus.... don't need the bible to explain it. It is an historical fact that Jesus was here, was crucified and resurrected. For those that don't believe that is was so, don't make these facts go away, it simply proves that no amount of historical facts will convince the nay-sayers. Very well made movie.
