Great alternative to a genuine battery from Canon, and a lot cheaper. Charge lasts as long as an original battery, I would recommend.

The battery stays charged for a decent amount of time, and doesn't take too long to be fully charged again. Good price too.

Use it in Cannon PS G5X II and so far is performing as well as the original.

Like) Batteries are completely compatible with the other ones that I have for my camera and they retain their charge well with repeated uses of the flash, which is good when taking photos at live indoor gigs.Dislike) Although the cost is still fairly reasonable, the increase since I purchased identical Batteries just over a year ago is considerable. I do pay attention the the wider world and understand completely why said cost has escalated so much, but the increase in price over 12 months from approximately £6 per Battery to £16 is not insignificant and will almost certainly influence whether or not I decide to acquire others in the near future.

So far so good. Holds charge well. Only time will tell if it charges repeatedly. Still too soon to tell

5star, good product, great value

I have several Canon cameras that use this type of battery. So far, after a fair amount of use, I've no complaints about the DSTE substitute. While I do have a number of spare ultra-overpriced genuine Canon batteries and have preferred to use them, one of these dating back a couple of years has just packed up. So I will be ordering another DSTE replacement soon and when I buy another compact camera, it may well be something like a Sony, as I'm fed up with the way Canon think it's okay to rip-off their customers.
