So, the first thing to know is that Siberian rhubarb root has been clinically shown to decrease hot flashes and associated sleep problems. I was doubtful about this when a friend told me that her GYN recommended a particular brand of supplements, but the NIH library has a ton of studies on in (search for NIH and "siberian rhubarb root"), mostly of her specific brand, which has been on sale in Germany for 30 years. However, that product is pretty expensive--about $2 a pill--and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much on something I wasn't sure would work! But although there are plenty of other products that claim to contain Siberian rhubarb root, they tend to be pretty vague about exactly how much and which parts of the plant are included in their pills. So I went on a search through Amazon to see if I could find the exact same dosage and proportion of the parts of the plant as in her brand, but in a cheaper product. This was the only one I found that matched. (The benefits of saffron are BS, as far as I can tell, but I read some medical literature to reassure myself that it's not actually harmful.) For the first month, I saw no benefits at all, and I was a little discouraged; the studies I had read showed a decrease in hot flashes within a month, and a bigger decrease within three months. But I bought a second bottle and kept taking it. Around the sixth week, I realized that I couldn't remember when I'd last had a hot flash. A week or two later, I noticed that my fitness tracker was claiming I was getting much more deep sleep a night. And by the beginning of the third month, I realized that I was sleeping until 6-6.30 most nights, rather than waking up every night around 3 or 4 and then having to try to go back to sleep. I haven't started or stopped any other supplements or medication in that time, or changed any other lifestyle issues, so I'm pretty sure it's these pills. I'm grateful for an affordable product--though I wish it were sold in 60 or 90-pill bottles!

It works for me. It drastically reduced my hot flashes. I try not to run out of it.

I have been using this product for a week now and my hot flashes are actually worse than they were before I started. I haven't had a night sweat in a year, just several hot flashes a day. Awful night sweat last night and more hot flashes during the day. I am going to throw the rest of the bottle out. I was really hoping that this was going to work!!!

I was on a another product for 30 days and no relief, change. After taking this the first time (1 pill), I had fewer hot flashes the next night, got almost a normal night sleep. I only woke up 3 times instead of every hour with hot flashes. I am a week in now and getting only woken up maybe once or twice.
