This so far appears to be a good winch line I used it to replace the steel cable that was on my winch I haven't had a chance to use it yet as a bonus feature it matches the color of my Jeep which is probably more important than whether or not it functions

Five stars. This winch rope is bright red, strong, and looks like it was woven by angry mountain goats with engineering degrees. I bought it expecting rope. I received a rescue noodle with the emotional confidence of a tow truck. It feels solid, handles well, and gives my Jeep that “yes, I make questionable trail decisions” look. If this thing can’t pull you out, congratulations, you have successfully joined the geology

For the Badlands ZXR 12000 you will need to bore the anchor hole in the center drum out for this to fit. The cable is thicker than the steel cable it comes with You will also need to cut off the anchor tab. I just burnt the end with a lighter so it resists unraveling. Make sure to push the line about an inch through the hole all the way. Looks good and works good. Just had to do some redneck engineering to get it to mount to the spool.

Worked well with my warn evo 10k that I converted from cable to rope. The bolt that connects the cable to the spool had to be slightly drilled to fit this rope but overall it worked out great and I gained 10ft compared to the stock cable from warn
