The Purple Cow- Magnetic Reversi Game. Travel Size Board Game Set for Kids

Bought this for a train trip. We'll packaged, and doesn't take up much space.

After opening the game, I realized that it comes with separate black pieces and white pieces. When you play the game, the instructions tell you to replace your opponents piece with your own (instead of flipping over the piece). I am disappointed. This is not reversi. They should call this game replaci.

The idea of Reversi is that you flip the pieces, but only one side of the chips was magnetic. It came with two sets of chops: one is white and black and the other is only black. It seems they want us to switch out the pieces instead of flip them? Frustrating for adults with big hands and littles who are developing their motor skills.

It is exactly what I needed.

So far, this is the only one of the series that doesn’t work.

Not really a "magnetic reversi" - there are black and white magnetic pieces but you don't reverse them, you replace them with the other color instead of turning them over like in normal game because they all are magnetic only on one side. I don' really enjoy having extra pieces that are sliding all over the place.
