I wanted a dirndl for an Oktoberfest party, without going down the 'foxy serving wench' route. This is perfect! It is well-made, with a separate blouse, dirndl dress and apron. The embroidery adds a pretty touch.I'm 5'7" and the hem just reaches my knee. I took the advice of previous reviews by adding a broderie anglaise petticoat (mine is 55cm long). I'm glad I did so, it fills out the skirt and adds a visible pretty under-frill of around 1-1.5 cm to the overall ensemble.Sizing: according to the size guide, I'm in between a Medium and a Large (in most stores I take a Medium). I ordered the Medium. The waist fits well, the bust is just okay (a little tight, but not so that I can't breathe!).

Good quality compared to others on Amazon. I did have to do a few stitches on the sides to snatch the waist but good quality!

Well made and good quality cotton dress, apron and blouse. Looks good on and will wash well. I am size 10 and got the small size and it’s great. (I originally ordered a medium which was maybe a 12-14 so was too big)

This is a much nicer and better quality outfit than I had expected for the price. Lovely metal loops, pretty embroidery and the fabric feels nice to wear. I got lots of compliments on this at Oktoberfest!I am a UK size 10 and usually wear size S, but based on other reviews here about it fitting very small I originally bought size M - it was huge!! I reordered a size S which was a perfect fit for me. So I’d say true to size. Thanks for free returns Amazon!
