Levi'sWomen's 315 Shaping Bootcut Jeans

If you're looking for a replacement for your discontinued 512's you may be disappointed. First off you're going to need to size up from whatever size you were wearing in the 512's as the 315's are cut a bit smaller. Secondly if you've got a bit of booty or some extra curvy thighs forget it when Levi's describes the 315 as "cut slimmer through the hips and thighs for a more modern look" they really mean it. News flash Levis's if I had thighs that slim I wouldn't probably be buying 'slimming' jeans. Also if you're looking for that nice heavy weight material that keeps its shape all day you're going to be disappointed. Saddest part of all is that I bought several pairs of these thinking that I could make do with them even though they were a bit uncomfortable in the thighs however they shrunk pretty much when they were washed and so i will be replacing them with a pair of Lee Riders Relaxed Fits that are half the price and fit more like Levi's old 512's did.

These were my favorite jeans, but sizing seems inconsistent now that I have tried several pairs. I am still wearing an old pair with a 30 waist that fits fine. I bought some other 30s awhile back which are too small. Recently tried a 31, too small also. Now a 32 and it's too big. I'm returning these again. Also, I ordered an R on my last two orders, and both tags clearly said they are a Long. They are 32" long so perhaps that is really an R, but it is confusing, they should be clearer about what length you are ordering. I still think they are good jeans, but I'm going to shop for them in a store where I can try a bunch because of the size variation.

I'm in between at 33" so it is difficult for me to find a pair of jeans that don't gather at the ankle with extra inches of grossly disfigured denim - Sometimes the 34" will work - This time they were just too long.PRO: The color/shade "Mystical Fog" is nice and dark - I love it! Perfect for work. These are Nice Looking Jeans.CON: Entirely too stretchy for me - please see the materials list to make sure you understand that you are basically buying a pair of your grandmothers polyester pants (81% Cotton, 17% Polyester, 2% Elastane) masquerading as a pair of jeans. I am not "bone skinny", I have some meat on my bones. At 5'5" and 140 lbs, these jeans and their 17% polyester and 2% Elastane did not "shape" me as the title suggests they might do, at least not in a good way - To my horror (lmao) they made me look like an old pillow that had seen too many washings - All bumpy and out of place.I did not return them but gave them to a taller and much leaner friend and she loves them!If you have a little meat on your bones I suggest you move on to a different pair of jeans - BUT if you're nice and firm already and love the feel of a comfy pair of stretch pants then these jeans may be perfect for you!

Loved these jeans. They arrived in a day and were the Levi quality I expected. I'm 5'2" 130 Lbs. The 28S waist is a little snug but fits perfectly with a little stretch, but I like my jeans tight, so if you like a looser fit I would recommend ordering your correct size or one size up. Even though their 30" inseam they are still to long, even with heels, but being shorter I'm used to having to hem all my pants. All in all I am very happy and will be ordering more of the same and in other colors.

Funny that I give 4 stars to a pair of jeans that I returned. The material was perfect--form fitting, yet forgiving. My biggest issue was that 512 jeans are my very favorite style (of course they are now discontinued). The seller advertised that "if you like 512's, you will love 315's." Unfortunately, the jeans were extremely tight through the hips and thighs. My daughter said that they looked great on me...but that it also looked like I was wearing a teenager's pair of jeans. I really don't want the "trying to hold onto my youth" look, so I returned them.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are long. I'm petite at 5'2". I ordered the 27/5 Short and it fits BEAUTIFULLY except even having ordered short, it's too long! The 27/5 Short has a 30" inseam, so I am going to have to get these hemmed. I've washed them to see if they would shrink in length, but no shrinkage and they are still too long. But they fit great and are comfortable and look nice!

I purchased because Amazon stated 'a replacement for 512.' This fit was awful for me; every time I kneeled down they slipped right off my ass. They do not fit like the 512's at all.

These jeans definitely aren't for me. When I tried them on, the waist went very high. There's so much extra material at the back of the legs also. I ordered the 30 long thinking it would be perfect with shoes but it's just not so. These go at least four inches past my feet.I'm 5'7, 165, low waisted and have never had a pair of jeans fit so ill as these. They look nothing like the picture posted here. These did not shape anything with all the extra material on them.
