Works well, on the right kind of ants
I was a bit skeptical when I put these out. I had tried pretty much all of the store-bought brands of ant traps, with only limited success. I put these in my kitchen, where I had an infestation in my cupboards -- the little brown ants we call "sugar ants" around here. Within hours, the ants swarmed them, and a day later the ants were gone. I left the traps out, though, and it's a good thing I did. After three days the ants swarmed the traps again, and disappeared just as quickly. Three days later this happened again. The fourth time there were much fewer ants. After the "4th wave" I put out fresh traps and left them there for 2 weeks -- but no more ants appeared. The key, I've learned, is PATIENCE. These things do work, but you have to give them enough time to kill the whole nest -- at least 10 days to 2 weeks. One caveat, and the reason I only gave 4-stars: apparently not all ants are attracted to the same kind of baits. I used these in another room, where there was another infestation of apparently similar ants, near floor level. These ants seem to be ignoring the traps completely, though they've been there for 10 days now. I will have to find some other way of dealing with this new "tribe". But if you have the ants that are attracted to these baits, they do work well. ETA: As with many Amazon listings, the product description is a little confusing. The title says these are 5x6x7 inches, and the illustration shows a person holding a 10-inch bag. In fact that bait -stations- are little red things, about 2-inches square, and 1/2-inch high. There are 24 stations in the bag. ETA -06/11/24: I've just upped my rating of these to 5-stars. After years of constantly battling ants, these things have kept my home virtually ant-free for 2 years now. As noted above, if you already have an infestation you need to be patient -- it takes about 2 weeks to clear. After that, minimal maintenance will keep the ants gone. The trick is, as soon as you see an ant, put out a couple of traps, and within a few days you will again be ant-free for months. Thanks to these babies, last summer was the first summer in all the years I've lived in my home that was completely ant-free for the entire season. In March I spotted a few "scouts" put out a couple of traps, and the house has been ant-free since. Whatever these are, they really work.

Great traps and fast acting.
These traps worked incredibly well. We had a pharaoh ant infestation in our kitchen. These ants are 1mm to 2mm big and are very hard to see unless you are super close. We had so many of them that you could see the ant trails from across the room. There must have been 1000's of them. I looked them up and found out you shouldn't use ant spray because it causes them to create new colonies and will make your problems worse. I had been spraying them all week. I bought these traps and put them out where I saw the ants most and followed the trails to what I thought were the entry points the ants were using. With in 24 hours the ant population was down to almost nothing. I am still finding stragglers and placing traps as needed, but I can not stress enough how well this product worked for me. If you are having ant problems, I would look online for the best way to deal with your type of ants. If it recommends traps like these, then I would buy them every time. I really can't get over how well these traps worked.

this stuff is the bomb !
the bomb ! this stuff eviscerated my ant problem. haven't seen an ant in over three months. pricey, but if you want something that works, this is it. i'm a contractor, and i've used fpronil many times before. spray it on the substrate before you pour concrete as a termite treatment. the stuff is excellent. it is a professional product.that i buy under the trade name Termidor. you have to be VERY careful with that stuff. it will wipe out bee's and fish and no one needs to be doing that. probably not good for pets either. these bait stations have fpronil in an enclosed trap. only something as small as an ant can get in (no pets, bee's, fish). ants take it to the hive, rub it on the queen, and shazam, no more ants ! please use responsibly. this is not like a can of raid.

Pretty good
This tucks away nicely into corners, and it's worry free. It seems to work pretty well, but I still see ants occasionally. It's not 100% effective, but I don't know that anything would be with ants. Overall it's quite good.

Didn't seem to work for me but max force is good brand
I have had great success with max force gel but these baits did not seem to attract the ants around my home. I had a big infestation all around my house. I started with a tube of max force gel bait and these traps. The ants ignored the traps but devoured the gel bait. The ant population receded then returned after about a week. I then applied advance 365 granulate around the perimeter and used advion gel bait. The ants took to both type of baits but continued to ignore the max force traps. After 2 weeks I sprayed talstar all around the perimeter and flower gardens. Ant problem solved for now. I still have the max force traps around the perimeter and some inside the house. Max force is a good brand and ants are finicky. These are worth a try but you may have to use multiple products.

Maxforce Lacks Force
At first I did not know if I had sweet or grease or protein ants. A friend recommended I try Terro. I bought Terro indoor traps, outdoor, traps, and pellets. And... nothing. Not one ant visited any of the Terro baited traps. More and more ant hills were popping up on the lawn and the ants were all coming inside my house. One day after observing some ants dismantling a dead cricket in the backyard, I though "Hey! They might be protein ants." After a bit of research, I decided to buy this product, Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations. And... nothing. Not one ant visited any of the Maxforce baited traps. Neither the Terro or Maxforce worked. Neither attracted my ants. Not really knowing what to do, I decided to modify these traps. So I tore the tops off and dropped a couple drops of Swanson's chicken broth on the Maxforce baits. Placed them all over the house...and bingo...ants swarmed the baits. But they worked for a only day until the chicken broth either wore off or dried up. I don't know. My house was ant free for about a week. But now they are back... Maybe I have smart poison avoiding ants...

Wow! This Really Works!!
My pest control company has been giving me little MaxxForce bait traps whenever I had inside ants during COVID19 lockdowns and the traps worked great. Then the company announced they would stop providing the little ant bait stations that were so effective. So I found MaxxForce on Amazon. I thought these were just the stations, so I also purchased tubes of the active ingredient. I woke up today to some ants and opened the packages. Since I had to run off to a meeting I put these little prefilled bait stations at the crucial spots for ants in my place, I figured I would fill other bait stations with MaxxForce gel when I returned home. When I got home, the infestation was gone and all the ants were gathering around the bait stations that I had set out expect that they will be gone in 24 hours. This was great! I didn't have to fill bait stations and these little MaxxForce traps really attract the ants!

It works!
YES! IT WORKS! Worth the $$ We “had” a nest of acrobat ants we couldn’t find. They were in our attic, boring tiny holes into our ceiling sheet rock, and dropping on us from the ceiling HVAC vents. Regular grocery store OTC ant baits were not working. We did some research and found Bayer Max Force Ant Bait. <$40.00 vs. $120.00 to an exterminator. The Bait Pods don’t adhere well to outdoor type surfaces, but they work!! We were completely without acrobat ants within 5 days! The ants take the bait back to the queen, the queen and colony die. Their numbers dwindled, then suddenly they stopped showing up. We placed the pods both indoors and out, wherever we saw lines of the ants crawling. If the pod won’t adhere to the surface in their crawl path, place them on a flat surface as close to their crawl path as possible; acrobat ants will seek them out.
