After searching for towels made in the USA, I found "Made Here. 1888Mills.com". I ordered the six piece bath set. The bath towels are great, wash cloths are fine, but after washing, one of the hand towels frayed at one end. After contacting customer service, I was reminded of their 30 day no return policy. It had been several months since I had purchased them . I responded by asking them if it was acceptable for a towel to start fraying after only six months. I was then given an option of getting a full refund or a replacement set of hand towels; I chose the replacement hand towels.They arrived, and after looking at the ends , I an see threads sticking out on both towels. So ....My conclusion is that while these towels are priced well, they are not made with the care you would expect from a US company. You might need to spend more here to ensure getting a high quality towel.

Big, soft, work well and made in America

I usually keep my expectations low for towels, so please understand that these were SO disappointing that they managed to make me leery of all towels going forward.When I first got them and did an initial wash, they were soft and luxurious. I washed them a second time, still delightfully soft and luxurious. I followed the washing instructions and drying instructions. Yesterday, I washed one of them separate from the rest-and it came out like a regular towel. All of the plushness is gone. I hung it up next to the other towel and it's comical.I think that these are fantastic at first, and they're so soft and plush that it's ridiculous. However, after repeated use the soft, plushness vanishes and it comes out feeling like a cheap towel bought on clearance from walmart. I also noticed that they're starting to fray slightly. This is after two weeks of use! Clearly they were designed to get stellar reviews out the gate and then fall apart when people are less likely to return for a review or an update.

Purchased two sets. Practically non-existent lint. No pulled threads, no discoloration, no decrease in the thickness, no issues with these in the wash. I would purchase them again when I need new towels. I spent 30-60 minutes looking through the towels available on Amazon for some quality, white, hotel style towels that I could count on lasting for a few years. I am positive these will last. After 3 months of daily use and weekly washing, they still feel the same as they did when they were new. The first wash and dry cycle did not result in any linting. These are definitely high quality towels and are made in the US by a company known to supply many hotel chains with towels. They are not overly soft, nor abrasive, just perfectly comfortable. They do a great job of quickly drying you off. I'd avoid all of the other towels on here that are described as being "authentic Turkish" towels or as being of superior quality, or luxury grade, etc. Take a look at the reviews and you will see that most stain, lint, and fall apart. I can count on these towels to last and remain consistently soft and comfortable.My only complaint is that the seller/manufacturer can't make up their mind on the pricing. Please just sell them for an honest price and stop messing around with constant price changes and coupons.

These towels are thick and absorbent. They shed a lot when you wash them the first few times but that is expected. They didn't shrink. I'm pleased with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  I really wanted to find towels and linens made in the USA. When I found 1888 Made Here on Amazon, I had to try it. It is better than advertised. Very plush, very absorbent and even better it got here so quickly. I think I have become a fan of these towels in this Georgia company .

I love these towels. After using utilitarian towels for years, I was ready for a bit of luxury. The quality is fabulous. I bought the Laurel Oak, which is a darker green than I had hoped for, but I have to admit the color is a very rich pleasing green.The manufacturer is in Georgia, and for this towel set they use imported cotton, though the towels are made in America. I consider this set surprisingly affordable for such fine quality.The towels wash beautifully and get all the fluffier from being laundered.

I’m picky about towels and these are nice. Maybe a bit more money but given the quality and that they are made in the US totally worth it. I like to support US based companies if at all possible. I will be going back for another set.2.4.2022 follow up, after two washings I have a few snags/pulled threads on the body of the bath towel. This morning the hem of one bath towel came apart. Disappointing, for the money I thought I’d go back for more, now, probably not.
